Hearthpwn

A personal favourite that works incredibly well. Not only is the deck great for wins and to play but you even get to summon the Ragnaros the Firelord dream! The deck makes use of Hero Power, Elemental, and Odd-cost synergies. You've got plenty of AOE ability in the deck to combat aggro and even higher stat minions.

You are here to play a control game.

This flavor of the deck runs Baku for the Odd-cost shenanigans. After 4 hero power casts you've already set yourself up for Ragnaros via Jan'alai later in the game. Seriously, don't try to make non-Baku Jan'alai work, you're wasting your time!

New cards in the deck

Good things to start off with are

• Fire Fly
• Black Cat
• Stonehill Defender
• Tar Creeper

If you have Jan'alai in your opening hand, you can hold onto it to make the dreams come true, but it isn't recommended. There are a lot of ways to draw from your deck so throw him back!

Noteworthy Stuffs

Ragnaros the Firelord is a god with Frost Lich Jaina as your hero. HEAL MY HERO, INSECT.

Voodoo Doll is a really important card and you do want two copies of it. It will allow you to later fill your board with Water Elemental via Frost Lich Jaina while being able to get rid of the enemy's annoyances.

Alexstrasza has been invaluable in burning down opponents. You'll easily take someone from 30 -> 15 -> 7-9 Health in a turn by just having a couple of minions on the board. That on top of the fact that you are unkillable thanks to Elementals and Frost Lich Jaina = easy wins. If you still have not crafted her, do yourself a favor and find the dust for it. Worst case scenario in owning this amazing card is they move it to the Hall of Fame at some point and you get your dust back.

Replacements

I've also really enjoyed playing with Arcane Artificer for insane amounts of armor later in the game. It isn't strictly necessary though due to the amount of healing you can get through Frost Lich Jaina but it can be another method of survivability in your deck which gives you a better chance of drawing into something defensive. I would drop one of your Stonehill Defender cards for one Artificer.

Blizzard's Version

There's a version of this deck that Blizzard created and made available as a deck recipe. You can experiment with it via Whizbang the Wonderful. It definitely performs "good enough" but Stargazer Luna feels like a dead slot because ultimately, the card draw isn't necessary for success. It can be fun to have a few dreams come alive though through the deck. Ultimately it's just more expense for less winrate.
