This is a more refined list of Spell Hunter. Theorycraft lists although playable are not the most accurate representation of the deck.
Try and mulligan for:
- Lesser Emerald Spellstone (#1 priority)
- Secret Plan
- Wandering Monster
- Candleshot (amazing against known aggro opponents)
Early on you make use of Weapons and Secrets to rid your opponent of their board. You'll then be able to make use of a nicely upgraded Spellstone so that you can transition into your big beauties - Deathstalker Rexxar (yay minions), Rhok'delar (yay spells), and Zul'jin (praise Yogg).
Drop a tracking and add a flare for mirror matchups and mages.
Double tracking is absolutely game losing with Zul'jin. You have to either home it until after the zuljin turn or never play one of the cards. I'm running one just fine... Thinking of dropping that down to 0.
Aggressive value LUL !
Good deck. +1. The fact that I went 12-1 in the tavern brawl as an average player shows how good this deck is.
Zul'jin won me a LOT of the games, but sometimes you need to keep in mind that Tracking removes 2 cards which may be vital cards like Deathstalker Rexxar or Rhok'delar. Also start praying to RNGesus that the baited arrows, hunters marks, flanking strikes and kill commands hit something other than you lol.
Other than that, good deck! Not too difficult to pilot.
Based on my experience with this deck it's not really worth running eaglehorn bow
Tracking is excellent to keep in hand to be able to fish for something you need at the very moment.
Two of them on the other hand might be a tad too much, hence I've replaced one of them with Crushing Walls and also replaced one Hunter's Mark with Flare (very situational and techy, but works wonders against the Hunter-dominated ladder, it can clear the Secrets again when Zul'jin comes into play).
