Sup guys, i'm a Rogue only player since beta that have 36x Legend and 12k+ wins with the class, this is the deck i'm having a blast in Rastakhan Rumble, it's super powerful it have some insane combos, i went 9-3 in the current Tavern Brawl with it also got Legend at day 10 of the season, here are my proof and stats:
Mulligans :
You can consider keep Captain Hooktusk but NEVER keep your other pirates in any situation, this is really important!
You will mostly search for Backstab , Fire Fly (keep Cold Blood in slower matchups with that) , Prince Keleseth (obvsly keep Shadowstep with that) , SI:7 Agent (with coin), Hench-Clan Thug, Tar Creeper and Corpsetaker.
Kiwiinbacon made a video showcasing the deck, he got some really sweet games for you guys, i had alot of fun watching not gonna lie and i hope you have too :) dont forget to check out his channel and subscribe for more videos like that also to join the giveaways!
Tommy_Wave made video showcasing the deck, unfortunately he did not do well this time but it's okay we can't beat them all haha make sure to check out his channel for more awesome videos like that!
Feel free to ask any questions or leave a comment below, thank you all for the support! GLHF!
Took my first legend with this deck last month. 66% winrate from rank 5. But i made some changes: since i dont have Nightmare Amalgam, i added two Fal'dorei Strider instead and it fits very well because deck IMHO is overloaded by 3-drops and honestly Ticket Scalper terrible card for tempo play on turn 4.
Thank you, Reinan, for funny and competitive deck!
Thoughts on adding Spirit of the Shark for a double Prince Keleseth buff?
Also, the deck depicted in the videos is very different.
The card draw on this deck is very, very bad. It depends on overkills that will more often than not, not happen.
Whatsup guys, long time :) So i played some games today season 64 after the recent changes and the deck is still super powerful i went 19-8 (70% winrate) from Rank 5 to 3:
The deck is already adapted for the Cold Blood nerf and it's still doing well as you can see. I lost two games by pure missplay It could easily be 21-6.
GL HF!
Powerful deck
So, after trying this deck, I should say it really works. I played about 20 games with it and on top of that it is pure fun to play it, it IS competitive enough for ladder. In those 20 games I lost only 5 times. Mostly against Zoolock, Odd(Face) Hunter and 1 against Even Shaman. The other matchups are pretty much winnable. You just need to think a turn or two in advance. I changed 4 cards in the original list. A Nightmare Amalgam for The Lich King(I don't have it and I just don't want to craft it given the rotation in 3 months), Leeroy for Half-time Scavenger and also added 2 Shadowsteps instead the 2 Fire flies. The Shadowsteps are really versatile. Sometimes you want to cast it on your Keleseth, sometimes you need your Vilepine slayers back to remove another big minion, sometimes you just need that 2 dmg from the SI7:Agent. And the best thing about Shadowstep is Leeroy. 12 dgm face for 8 mana is just insane(combine that with Cold blood and you get 20 dmg for 10 mana). It's just crazy. Captain Hooktusk... I got that for my free legendary when the expansion came out and until now I haven't really tried it, but it is amazing tempo play when your opponent has a big board and thinks it's game over. It clears the board and meanwhile draws some valuable cards in the process. Overall great deck.
I have this deck and don't have high win rate. Cannot win against damn Control Mages or face hunters
Only found this deck recently and I have been having so much fun with it! I'm playing the updated version.
Hi all,
i replaced Stormwatcher and Argent Comander for two Shadowstep and it is so powerfull
Made some adjustments. Obviously, you want Shadowstep with Prince Keleseth.
Shadowstep synergies with other cards like, Vilespine Slayer AND Leeroy Jenkins!
Several times I've buffed my deck twice with Prince Keleseth, then hit face 2x with Leeroy Jenkins using Shadowstep.
I replaced Fire Fly and The Lich King because they were literally never the right card to play.
you cant replace lich king bcs of shark and you just dont need windfury, so you can replace stormwatcher and divine shield. You have divine shield on Zilliax so i replaced this and big elemental for two Shadowstep
I did the same because I don't have The Lich King. And the deck is awesome! I played 8 games with it, already 7-1 with the only lose to an Odd pally. Won against Mechathun Warlock, Odd Roge, Dragon Warrior,2 OTK Pally,2 Secrets Hunters. Thanks for the deck
I've been playing this deck for a few days now and I'm having a lot of fun with it. The corpsetakers catch quite a few people off guard which makes them really strong when it's hard for the opponent to respond to. Captain Hooktusk always feels great to play by allowing me to usually clear the opponents board while drawing a few cards in the process. Very solid card in this deck.
Corpstaker is really important card, this card gets you some healh and slows some agrro class. And what about captain? He is A CAPTAIN.
I won 4 out of 7 games with hunter 2 of them being spell and 2 being secret
My current stats vs hunters during this season on rank 4: 12-14
From rank 22 to 10 (84% winrate)
I struggle alot with warriors because of the tempo and the board clears any tips?
My tips are kinda obvious , try to play around things like dynamo mech, Brawl and Supercollider . the key is to make a Corpsetaker with Cold Blood and push some damage but most of the time they already have answer for it Big Game Hunter or Ironbeak Owl , try to bait those things and play The Lich King he might do some work if they dont have instant answer. It's by far the worst match up so you will need some lucky to win.
this replay will show exactly what I'm saying:

@Edit: Also always keep Cold Blood in your starting hand against Warrior.
