Miracle Wisp, a Miracle Rogue deck that relies on two Wisps to OTK the enemy, using spells directed to the face, thus enemy taunts will not matter.
The ideal 30 dmg burst
Notice, that this rarely happens, and it's only the ideal burst, but usually the enemy is already at ~20hp, so you won't need the whole burst.
Update 11/22/2014
Wow I didn't think I'd ever hit the front page! Thank you guys for all the attention and comments, I've read through all the comments and updated the deck list a little to be more consistent, it's not perfect but it's better!
+1 Edwin VanCleef, +1 Earthen Ring Farseer, +1 Loatheb, -1 Sap, -1 Conceal, -1 Shiv
I agreed with the comments that there aren't enough minions for this deck to be consistent. Second Earthen Ring Farseer should help a little, and Edwin VanCleef is overall great card in any Miracle deck, also adding a huge minion. Loatheb is simply amazing for any deck, it delays the enemy's spells by one turn and it's a solid 5 mana 5/5, no reason not to have it in almost any deck. I found it kinda useless to have 2xSap, since you're not using any kind of charge minions for your lethal combo, so the enemy minions don't need to be sapped out of the way. Also, I would've liked to kept two Conceals and two Shivs, but I had to give up on something.
Replacements
Although this deck doesn't need Malygos or Leeroy Jenkins to be successful, it still has three legendaries in it. You can replace Bloodmage Thalnos with an other Azure Drake, and whereas Edwin VanCleef can't really be "replaced", due to its uniqueness, you can still replace it with an other strongish minion like Violet Teacher or Gnomish Inventor. Loatheb simply can't be replaced by anything, its ability is way too unique and strong. If you don't have him, go unlock the Naxxramas.
More updates, gameplay videos, mulligan options and overall tutorials coming soon, stay tuned!!
Hey there , just seen the article and i would like to share a couple of thougths. First, nine cards combo, remind me mage OTK, advantage better engine for card drawing, disadvantage probably less surviavility?
ill give a try as seems lot of fun but no rank recommended, aggro and warriors will be nearly imposible wins and ladder has so to many of them
Thanks for the list, if i find more surviaility ill share it too.
I've been thinking about this deck for awhile and what about using shades of naxx over earthern? You dont get that snapheal effect but you do get invisible spell dmg conduits.
Hmmm... Interesting deck. Rouge are the only deck that i have viably seen use wisps. Since you are using Wisps, I can't help but think you might want Questing Adventurer in here, which is a great card for Rouge because of all the cheap combos and you can protect him for stealth. And speaking of stealth, add back in the second conceal. Play questing and conceal him on one turn and then combo wisps and Shadow Step and Edwin VanCleef on the next turn while attacking with Questing Adventurer. Thing is, you have most of the cards for this in the deck already, so it wouldn't be that big of an adjustment (in theory) to add those 3 card in.
Then again, you don't have Cold Blood so it's probably not what you are going for with the deck. It might alter the chemistry too much. Hmmm...
this deck is in no way a new concept, i saw this deck archetype play tested in beta around season 1-2 by someone or other, but im glad its still alive because it can be fun to play
free_gold. one of the grandfathers of the miracle rogue! the two decks are actually quite a bit different aside from wisps being included. back in the day i'd say free_gold's deck was better. but with all of the changes, who knows? i'd still say malyrogue is better than this particular deck though.
played this deck ~~~ 15 times. You cant win against priest, and every second deck now its priest. You have only 2 aoe. Then - you MUST use your Eviscerate for killing big creatures. So in the end i did 6 + 6 + 8 = 20 dmg (its record). 2 Sinister Strike and 1 Eviscerate (Ancient Mage + Bloodmage Thalnos + Wisp × 1). 20 dmg vs priest or druid or warrior? hm. Mages this full combo do 32 dmg. But in 80% games you never will be have this 20 dmg combo.
Vs edwin all opponents have over 9000 answers, coz u havnt many creatures.
All miracole leak this out Auctioneer, but have no idea about "save" your damage spells like Eviscerate. They just clear boards and win this HA-HA man or huge arcane golem. Es imposible. You need more dmg in this deck. May be one Assassin's Blade.
And in the end - GOD! Loatheb this shadowstep so faking gud ;O
i havent actually played the deck, but it does feel like there aren't enough minions to help you deal with the board. I also feel that any deck that runs wisp should use more combo cards like headcrack and si-7 agent
Welcome to Miracle Rouge buddy, it will never have a lot of minions because it needs a lot of cheap spells to activate the auctioneer so you can draw into the combo, or you can use something like bladeflurry or deadly poison to help you survive the early game. This decks win condition is not minions, it is a combo.
miracle is one of my favorite archetypes, but with the current aggro meta, "waiting" for auctioneers will get you killed. Using all your spells before you get an auctioneer down may grant you some stability, but in the end, hunters will rush you down.
Deck like this make me happy. It's frustrating to open a deck and see, like, ten Legendaries on the decklist. Gotta love a good budget deck!
If you have VanCleef, he combos well with wisps and he can add another win condition to the deck. Maybe you could add him instead of a sap or conceal, because I don't really see a reason for the second conceal.
Hey man, fun concept, but I just want to clarify that this is definitely NOT an instant win in any match other than Warrior... I got destroyed by turn 5 against a Mage. I'm struggling to understand how to stay alive for too long. Would love some coaching on mulligans and early game strategy!
Btw, the reason I'm excited about this one is I've gotten TWO golden wisps from packs. Now I can FINALLY USE THEM!! :)
I really like the concept of this deck. I feel the only real problem is that it is focused way too much like a normal miracle rogue, when really it doesn't need to be. I am developing a variation of this deck that is fairly unique, but you will certainly get props for inspiring it if it turns out to be successful.
Upvoting your deck so that more people will try it and give me free wins! Thanks dude
5% of the time, it works every time ;)
Kudos on the creativity!
I like the idea, definitely a fun combo. I would like to see this improved upon to make it consistently obtainable.
I can see why warrior and druid would hurt the flow. But any class that is somewhat fast will give you big problems. Having to save so many specific and key cards will really hurt your ability to maintain "board presence". I use that term lightly, meaning just enough to stay alive. With no extra draw ability, it would be a long road to get all you need. None the less, very interesting, and definitely fun.
I've made a deck that uses some of the same concepts, but uses stealthed minions as spell power targets. I feel like this is slightly more consistent than the wisps, because those stealth minions are generally better than wisps, and if they are Shade of Naxx. you have even more incentive to leave it stealthed and continue to bomb away in later turns. It does lack the OTK element of this deck. I have to admit that I never considered wisps here. Wonder if they would be better than the Worgen's in my deck. Anyhow here's my list if anyone is interested:
This deck needs miracle to win. No way you can gather 10 cards before enemy crushing you. Doesnt work for me at all. Nice idea tho. ;P
can you post video full game? i not understand how you survive for so long in early and mid game to do that.
