This deck combines two of the most recent Rogue archtypes that blizzard has been pushing. It plays as a tempo/combo variant which aims to control the board for as long as possible while chipping away at the opponent until eventually being able to play the following -

With 9 or 10 mana: Spirit of the Shark (4)

Following turn: Captain Hooktusk (8) + Value trade into opponents minions, especially with Ticket Scalper + Coin (0, generated from WANTED! (4)) + Preparation (0) + Cannon Barrage (6) 

This will almost always clear your opponents board and either kill him, or leave him extremely low and leave you with a board full of pirates that threaten several distinct and powerful effects.

• Eviscerates add additional reach through burn after the combo if you still have the other Preparation.
• Backstab helps with board control as well as combo activating Elven Minstrel.
• Preparation is very useful given the decent number of crucial spells in the deck as well as the substantial benefit you gain from being able to consistently cheat 3 mana in a tempo deck.
• The two Saps and the Walk the Plank help your pirates punch through the taunts getting in valuable chip damage to set up your Cannon Barrage based combos to finish the game.
• Shadowstepping Captain Hooktusk can provide insane deck thinning and a game winning board presence
• A particularly disgusting draw would be-

1. Turn 1 Hero Power (2)
2. Turn 2 Sharkfin Fan (2) + Weapon Swing
3. Turn 3 Coin (0) + Spirit of the Shark (4)
4. Turn 4 Faldorei Strider (4) which is particularly strong because the deck is able to thin out very quickly thanks to Elven Minstrel and Captain Hooktusk 
5. or Turn 4 Backstab (0) + Elven Minstrel (4) which provides very favorable odds of power drawing to Captain Hooktusk and consequently your other combo pieces as well
