I would put in Bloodmage Thalnos instead of 1 Acolyth. So you've a nice 3Dmg Combo with Consecration which is super usefull against Hunters (3/3) units.

I'm playing with this version and I noticed and lay of hands replaceable maybe by loot hoader, and would add zola against odd warriors and druids to try to win them with the knights of death

and zandalari templar bothers me a bit, get it on turn 4 or having to throw it before its effect is ready because your hand is overloaded is horrible. I will replace it with stonehills

Wouldn't Hemet, Jungle Hunter be a good addition to this deck... Great fucking deck by the way... I'm rapping Shitterwocks with this one...!!!!

The idea is neat, i tried many otk decks in paladin, the combo is 5 dead cards till last turn. That is too much to be viable, also try to put in better 2 drops the divine shield one, and corpse taker. Its a proactive cards that heals you as well with kangor. Only reason for kangor in any paladin deck is corpse taker.

I think Corpsetaker would be good with Zilliax and Shirvallah, the Tiger lifesteal and divine shield are almost garanteed

It would be interesting if such a terrible card could suddenly be good...but I just don't see it. Nice idea.

Cool idea, but you'll probably be dead way before you get to your Mechathun-like wincondition.

The deck is well-built, but I don't see any reasons why control paladin should become playable next expansion.  Decks don't become viable by themselves. Control paladin with new cards doesn't feel strong enough to compete even with boomsday tier 1 decks. Feels more like a fun tier 3-4 deck.

I think the core of it is there, but it's pretty tough when your only play in turn 1 or 2 (aside from hero power) is exactly Crystalsmith Kangor. Getting a Righteous Protectors down at least lets you contest the board a bit and extract a bit more value out of board clears turn 4/5/6.

I also think there isn't a high pay off in running the 2nd Baleful Banker. Your combo is Shirvalla +  Elekk + Banker, putting 3 into your empty deck. Next turn you draw one, then Holy Wrath the remaining 2 in your deck. No point in being left with 3 more Shirvalla's in there after dealing 50 dmg?

Maybe kill one banker and one of the acolyte's of pain for 2 Righteous Protectors?

stonehill is great in pally lots of great taunts to discover, and helps delay the enemy also, maybe take out the extra card draw for them

  • Then, it deals damage to its target equal to the mana cost of that card, queuing and resolving triggers.^[1]
• As usual, the target of the spell must be choosen before the spell takes effect, and thus without knowing how much damage will be dealt.
• If your hand is full when Holy Wrath draws a card, this spell will still deal damage equivalent to the card's mana cost, despite overdrawing the card.^[2]
• This spell's damage is increased by bonuses from Spell Damage and Prophet Velen.^[3][4]
• If Holy Wrath draws a 0-Cost card it deals 0 damage, usually with no effect (for example, it will not pop Divine Shield).^[5]

(Maybe this is because adding a new Enchantment recalculates mana cost immediately, but just drawing the card does not force it to recalculate its mana cost?)^[7]
  • Since on-draw triggers trigger before Holy Wrath deals its damage, if Shadowfiend is in play the mana cost of the drawn card is immediately reduced and Holy Wrath will deal one less damage.

The deck looks really cool! I just have 1 issue with it. There's like no way Divine Favor will work out, it just has too much draw and high mana costs! 

I'd suggest trying Shrink Ray instead! stalling is a very powerful drawing tool as well :)

Also one thing to consider is whether the Zandalari Templar will be activated enough of the time for it to be worthy of an include? Looks to me it requires Lay on Hands before it's ever doing any taunting for us since we cut Uther of the Ebon Blade. So either we cut it or we add something like Crystalsmith Kangor? Another point to consider is that even then we might prefer something like Lesser Pearl Spellstone where the taunt is guaranteed, it's cheaper, is an activator for wild pyro, and will more consistently get at least 1 upgrade.
