Hey guys,
I hit legend rocking a 69% W/R with a way slower, clunkier version of this deck.
The list you see here has gone through 6 or so edits and at this point, it's gotta be close to being the Optimum Deathrratle rogue list w/ Corpsetaker out there.
The removal of almost all combo cards has been a game changer, now the deck runs way smoother than before, focusing on well.. winning.
Opinion is split but Corpsetaker can just carry games on her back if she goes unanswered, and for that reason, she earns a spot.
SI:7 vs Hench Clan Thug - I go with the Thug, he's an absolute unit regardless of the matchup.
No Mossy, no Ashmore, no MCT, no Combo.. All for the sake of a less clunky, far more versatile deck.. Leeroy maybe earns a spot to counter priest but.. I'm not sold.. feel free to debate card swaps below
Short and sweet mulligan guide:
Always go for Egg + Necrium Blade / Shiny Finder
If you have the Egg but not the Necrium Blade or the Shiny Finder always keep the egg ... unless you're vs Zoo, Odd Pally or Odd Rogue because you're looking for Backstab, Firefly, Argent Squire and maybe even Corpsetaker.
Vs Even Lock Keep Sap / Blightnozzle to take care of early giants

I saw them also in other lists instead of Hench - I feel they are more save against faster MU like Odd rogue/pala, zoo, etc.

Posted Nov 14, 2018 (Boomsday)Good points there. I’ll experiment more with argent squire or possibly other divine shield minions, even gilnean royal guard maybe. It’s nuts if you cube it, and you can sometimes knock a lich king clean off the board with it. Also would you keep an egg in the mulligan if you don’t have shinyfinder or necrium blade? And would you coin blade if you have egg in hand?

Posted Nov 14, 2018 (Boomsday)Also regarding the slot for 1 mana, I see you put one argent squire instead of fire fly. Fire fly provides more bodies and you can hold the flame elementals to combo with vilespine slayer. Also turn one firefly into turn two cold blood is so good. I know squire has corpsetaker synergy, but are there other reasons you run it instead of double fire fly?

Posted Nov 14, 2018 (Boomsday)I’ve been playing a similar deck since one week after boomsday release. My version of the deck runs keleseth and umbra instead of shinyfinder, and I have shadowstep in for one egg. No luck past rank 3 so far though. What do you think of one egg? I feel like it is really dead sometimes. Also unbra plus cube on any minion fills your board, and is insane if you cube an egg or whelp. Sonya also grants synergy with keleseth. Oh, and also since zoo is so prevalent, I like si:7 better than hench clan thug. What do you think?
