Sup guys, i'm a brazilian player that play since beta also reach 34x Legend with the Rogue class every deck made by myself. I was bored of HS so i did not played the whole season but decided to give this deck a shot today (Day 25) and went 71/44 (61%W) with it from Rank 6 to Legend, best Tempo Rogue list out there with no doubt :P such an underrated archetype!
here is my proof and stats:
Kiwiinbacon made a video showcasing the deck that he ended up winning some very quick games! Check out his channel and consider subscriber he is a nice guy with good content also make some giveaways frequently, enjoy!
Tommy Wave made a very detailed showcasing video as always , talking a little about every aspect of the deck, i really recommend you guys check this out and consider subscriber to his channel to see more of this awesome videos, enjoy!
Feel free to ask any questions or comment below, GL HF!
I mean you can try it but i dont think it have really good value without Sprint or Gadgetzan Auctioneer... also you do not want to go into late game with this deck usually games end very quickly if it extend much means you problably gonna lose.
vs priest or shudd cant win anygame, is the opponent have control and heal is gg for this deck
You are favored against both, of course you can still have a really clunky hand dont put any pressure or just play bad and lose, shit happens i guess.
I tried it, but I'm not conviced. It requires to draw Keleseth early to be competitive. I observed many problem with this decklist:
I do not tell that the deck is garbage, sometimes you win, but I've serious doubts with the title "Legend in one day"...
12% winrate, complete useless
Your perspective is off. I've used a Tempo list to legend some moons ago.
Unfortunely i had some problems with my computer so i doens't have all the tracks right now.
I dont really know how many times i draw Prince Keleseth at turn 2 which is the turn he feels really powerful specially with the Shadowstep but it was definely a few times, Keleseth is just another win condition you dont rely on it with this deck by any means, Fan of Knives will not help you against paladin, token or even more zoo (you are favored against zoo, slightly unfavored against token druid and unfavored against odd paladin) because you cant develop nothing, this is a tempo deck where Fan of Knives or Vanish dont have a place you can always play Mossy Horror instead Spellbreaker if you want adapt to what you are facing the most that's how tech cards work in hearthstone , in all my games i remember got silence once against a even warlock, can be stopped by big taunts ya but it depends of the situation of course if you are talking about Oakheart it's problably just gg at this point like for every other deck lol (even so taunt druid is a good matchup imo, they definely need that Master Oakheart asap).
I'll show all stats when i get my PC back problably tomorrow,we'll see. but you dont need to doubt me it's actually not that hard to achieve Legend rank in a day with that many games i just played.
I agree with you. The problem is that you do not draw Prince Keleseth early everytime. And having simulateneously Shadowstep and Prince Keleseth in hand is even more rare (and not sure it is worth to wait for an eventual Shadowstep if you have Prince Keleseth).
On the other side, if you play Odd rogue, you basically play the same MVPs with 100% of chance to get a buffed hero power. Since the two decklist are roughly similar, the question is worth ?
So, with the current decklist, the main benefit compared to Odd rogue is that you can include Elven Minstrel to get more draw. But drawing is not really an issue in Odd rogue. However playing a MVP at turn 3 is very important. Odd rogue has 4 such cards, whereas your deck only proposes 2 of them.
So, to conclude, I hardly see situations where this deck performs better than an classic Odd Rogue, even if you consider a large number of games. But I'm not a pro player, so feel free to show me that I'm wrong. All my remarks are rather here to give some feedback and hopefully to help you to improve this decklist.
Anyway, thanks for sharing this decklist and your feedback :-)
They are both different mamie i dont know which one is better, i played with both and i have better results playing tempo rogue for me there is more upsides than downsides, i never got luck with odd rogue and i dont really like the playstyle, that's about it.
If you get better results with odd rogue go ahead i'm not here to convince anyone that this is a meta deck or anything i just wanted to share my experience with this list.
Ok ok :) Thanks !
Worked very well for me. Include a Myra's Unstable Element for a Tar Creeper and run 7-1 so far from rank 9 to rank 7.
I think myra is giving more flexibility in the end game, but I needed her only once against hunter. But in this situation, very helpful...
Myras is a interesting choice, for sure. i'm glad it's working for you!
Finally a good rogue deck that i like. Thanks man... 4-0 on rank 8 so faar
10 games: 7-3
Only 1 game got keleseth. 10/10 this deck is perfect
Good Job Upe, keep it up!
Any good replacements for Edwin VanCleef and Leeroy Jenkins ? I was thinking Vicious Fledgling
Keep in mind all the legendaries in this deck are win conditions so the replacements will not be that good, Edwin VanCleef -> Vicious Fledgling , Gluttonous Ooze , Mind Control Tech , Leeroy Jenkins -> Reckless Rocketeer or Argent Commander .
You need to elaborate more your feedback man i cant try to help you with such low info (rank, matchups etc), people always tend to think they are just unlucky but no you problably did some mistakes or got into bad matchups, it happens this deck is not the easiest to pilot lose 5 games is not the end of the world, just practice and try to improve with it.
I can garantee to you this deck is not bad, i play with tempo Rogue for many seasons already this is a well optimized list very rewarding to play.
this deck is actually pretty good
Downvoting. This deck is useless unless you see prince k in the first five turns. nothing but losses so far.
