Posted Nov 2, 2018 (Boomsday)Houndmaster Shaw is considered one of the core cards for Deathrattle hunter decks. He is even more important in a mech deck, because it lacks fast high value cards, like King Krush. It is really not recommended to play Deathrattle decks without him.
You could, however, try putting a tech card like Mind Control Tech or Spellbreaker
