Hello, I'm Vexovoid and this is the deck I made yesterday which turned out to be pretty good. I have never been legend so don't take it that seriously. Last season got to rank 3, I don't have the patience I guess ( always finish around 4-5 ranks..). I think this deck has what it takes to get to legend though it would be better to play something else until you face mostly control decks. I can't actually wait for the new cards as it seems mill decks are going to be viable again.
Try to mulligan for Dancing Swords, King Mukla ( Innervate + King Mukla = wtf ), also casual druid combos like Innervate + Keeper of the Grove and Wild Growth for early advantage. Also interesting combos like Naturalize + Loatheb (this can get pretty crazy and lead to a concede when combined with King Mukla ).
So I usually play like a normal combo druid and the other guy is all ok then at some point you do something like King Mukla + Naturalize + Coldlight Oracle (which leads to a removal of an unnecessary enemy minion, drawing some cards and milling the opponent). Remember to always play King Mukla first in such combos, so you can actually mill his useful cards.
When I play some more games with the deck I'll post stats. Though I think for the ~30 games I played with it I never lost against Handlock, Control Warrior, Miracle and Priest. The losses were against huntards ( managed to get 1/3 with good draws), one against another druid and like 0/3 against zoo, which really sucks). So all in all you can humiliate control decks but you get devastated by aggro because you give them cards... Suggestions to improve the deck against aggro are wellcome.
any milldruid is a +1 to me
Use something that will help early game instead of him.
I played against a druid like this a few days ago and I certainly wasn't ready for it. It also used Deathlord to pull a couple extra cards out of their deck, I can see it being very helpful in slowing down some aggro decks too. I saw a rogue deck with a similar idea doing all kinds of gross things with bouncing Coldlight Oracle including using Youthful Brewmaster which might be useful here.
It's fun. I will need some practise to get used to it, but I think it's my style of deck. I like milling options and token-style decks, but this deck has also some ramp options it seems.
Thanks! The deck is quite a hybrid, I'm trying to make it better, so suggestions are welcome. Actually the deck is awesome versus most control/midrange matchups but it's rather terrible (if you don't have perfect draws) against aggro matches.
It feels a bit heavy on the 5 mana minions, and I got pretty much overrun by a zoo lock indeed.
