Overview: This Midrange Hunter deck revolves around the 2 synergies, secrets and beasts. The main goal of this deck is to use one of these 2 synergies to carry you through the game and win midgame with a spellstone or a buffed beast that is slamming the face of the opponent. Deathstalker Rexxar allows you to grind out long games with later game minions when you start drawing lower value cards that you don't want in the end game, not only that but he has a board wipe for aggro decks and is a decent play against Giggling Inventor if you don't have Mossy Horror. Subject 9 is a BUSTED card that if you can play on turn 5 can give you a lot of draw power which thins your deck and gives you a lot of options. Overall this is a solid deck and I think with a little bit of practice (because this deck plays a little bit differently from the hardcore face Hunter) this deck can get you to any rank you desire.
Guide:
Gameplay:
25 Likes (Mulligans)
1) Spellstone, it is the bread and butter of the deck and without it on turn 5 it is a lot weaker (unless you have Subject 9 but that we will get to in a sec XD)
2) Secret Keeper, it is your go to 1 drop unless you have Dire Mole and Crackling Razormaw, in which case keep those 2 and toss the secret keeper. It will build on itself and become kinda big if not killed immediately.
3) Secrets, Keep venomstrike Trap usually because it is good value and the one with a duplicate so you can still draw with Subject 9. Go Freezing into decks that try to cheese things out, like the Mountain Giant for even Warlock or big mininos from deathrattle decks, or even into aggro to slow them down. Keep wander or explosive (Not Both usually because its overkill but I guess could still be useful) into aggro matchups.
4) Subject 9 and Deathstalker Rexxar into control matchups is good. If you already have a good start this is a good keep or have a terrible starting hand which means you may need to play for late game these are good options too. However, these are last on the priorities and really only kinda nice if you have them.
I am so sorry I have neglected this for as long as I have but college has really been kicking me in the butt. Please don't be too mad I will try to be more on top of things with my next guide.
yeah, i wonder which card we can use
Not OP, but I don't feel like he's required. He basically just turns your Bearshark Crackling Razormaw etc in to elimination cards, but this already has lots of elim with Eagle Horn Bow Kill Command and Mossy Horror, plus lots of traps that spawn bodies, which get to fire off on your turn anyway once their triggered. That said, dropping 4 wolves from a full spellstone can be a potential quick clear can potentially swing against some decks big time.
OP might be able to speak to more experience with him, but I think he's not required, as in some decks, but really can show advantage in the right situations (and is not half bad in the wrong ones anyway).
No Rat Trap? That card has won me so many games.
Seconded.
Drop a Tracking (since you're going for diversity a little more than tutoring for one specific card) in place of Rat Trap. Also maybe drop a Venomstrike Trap in favor of a Secret Plan so you can compensate for mediocre draws early on, instead of having to wait for Subject 9 (and getting aggroed to death before he shows up)
