This deck is literally insane in this meta. Does fantastic vs other druids, hunters and all kind of control/combo decks. Stands its ground against odd rogues and even shamans, suffers vs zoo and odd paladin and other hyper aggressive decks.
Top 100 playing exclusively with this deck all season:
This deck is autopilot basically so there's not much room for guides, some things to consider is that in most match ups holding recruiters after you complete the quest might be useful cause you might need Gloop Sprayer/Ixlid to duplicate Tyrantus(mostly vs druid, warlock and warriors) Hadronox, Lich king, or sometimes taunts to control aggression, and you don't want to recruit them randomly if the game will depend on who outvalues who.
Most games you can just spam the board and pull your entire deck before the opponent realizes and that's the fun part of it.
Mulligan for ramp, Oaken summons and vs aggro keep Jasper. You might keep Nourish vs control as a turn 5 nourish turn 8 Grizzled bear almost completes the quest.
Most games you don't need to ramp with nourish, it's better to have just enough mana to complete the quest and then draw with it instead. You don't need a 9MP barnabus with 0 card draw in hand, it's preferable a 7MP barnabus with a nourish in hand, taunts will stabilize.

Really well played by iShrubery, made very little mistakes in my opinion.

EDIT:
After watching quite a lot of people playing this deck I have to address some common mistakes I see:
Your goal is to finish the quest ASAP. You should not look for major board control or using nourish to ramp, finish the quest and you'll stabilize and not need mana at all. If you don't finish the quest by turn 8 in average you're not using this deck properly. Another mistake a lot of people make is drawing before completing the quest. Unless you have absolutely no plays incoming that could help you completing the quest, drawing before Barnabus is a mistake. And if you really have to draw, do the minimum. Don't use 2 branching paths card draws if you get an oaken summons on the first draw. Drawing a Malygos or a duplicator will make your life harder.
Another mistake people make is not tempoing Steel ragers properly. You have a charge 5-1 that can help you remove early threats, don't use Oaken summons if you have a Cursed Disciple in hand unless you can benefit of the Steel rager. Also, when you pull from your deck you're reducing the chances of drawing a quest completer next turn, so always use first the one in hand unless you really need Steel Rager.
Control the recruiters. This is probably the hardest part to pilot in this deck and where I see the most mistakes. In games vs aggro decks it's not so relevant, but in some games duplicating the key cards is vital. Also have control over what minions you have left. Using Oaken summons when your last minion is Ixlid can do major plays. Knowing when to duplicate and what to duplicate is also another point to master in this deck. Don't over commit unless you're really safe to do it.
I love this deck! It has all my favorite cards!
Too bad I couldn't buy a win with it. I make 5 and below every season and found this just too slow against aggro. I think I went 2-8 before giving up. Thanks for making it, as it looks great and the games I won were a lot of fun, but really, Oaken Summons without a 3/6 golem to help makes the deck too vulnerable to aggro. And aggro is 90% of your matches right now.
Piloted it from rank 9 to 5 in a day, it does work really well in the current meta!
I do have to agree with other people about Hadronox, I've never needed to use it (+- 30 games) and often couldn't even use it bc my board is always full or I have to put a single Hadronox on an empty board which gets silenced, frozen, or has no other minions to attack; the problem of not being able to kill it myself.
(I disenchanted Ixlid a long time ago btw so I use a second Gloop, maybe that's got something to do with it)
I think I might try a few games with spreading plague instead of hadronox; it will make the deck a lot better against aggro.
fun deck, just having trouble with popping the hadronox. its sort of a worthless card if it gets silenced, and its risky putting it out there and not being able to pop it.
Try putting it out with ixlid/Gloop sprayer or on a big board of threats so silence doesn't solve much for the players, Hadronox is particularly useful for this deck against control match ups, so don't overdo it with the recruiting and try to play the longer game and you will get 2 hadronox to resist silences.
Besides, people are wasting their silence before usually, on Corrupted disciples and Grizzled bears.
I've played around 20-25 games so far and haven't used Hadronox once. I think I might take it out and put in that Silver Vanguard (I think thats what its called) that has a deathrattle to recruit an 8 cost card. I also haven't used Gloop Sprayer that much so maybe i'll swap that for a Silver Vanguard too.
Edit: Silver Vanguard doesn't make much sense because if you completed the quest then it won't recruit anything because all the minions cost 0. Oh well lol.
I wouldn't recommend those changes as it will hurt the deck against control I believe. But if you do let me know how it goes :)
Yea I just edited my post lol. I realized it doesn't make sense.
i subbed out a grizzled and was looking for another card to sub for two neutralize. had out ultimate infestation, but it is a strong card so idk. but the neutralize helped alot for me, i could pop the hadronox with ease, and also deal with a big threat early if needed. i wouldnt say its an auto include with hadronox but it defiantly helps a lot.
I've played about 15 games or so and I would say this is about 50%. I play on a computer and my phone and didn't use a deck tracker the whole time. My first game with it I was at rank 14 no stars and now i'm at rank 14 with 3 stars. I think 4 stars is the highest I made with it. I'm having fun with it though so i'll keep playing it for a couple days at least and see if I can get anywhere with it. It's a lot better than those awful OTK decks. I hate playing those and playing against them. Everyone please stop using them! At least in ranked.
it will be great, if you add video
Might do some streaming later on, will add the vod.
super fun deck bro nice ! something different
I take back what I said, this just isn't fun on ladder :( how do you deal with the most popular deck (zoolock) having 7 minions on the board at turn 5 all with buffed stats? I haven't made it past turn 8 yet against zoo, I complete the quest fine but Barnabus is useless because he's not a taunt. They have like 25 damage on board, I have one taunt minion in hand and it's just not enough.
I might be lucky but in legend ranks there are barely no zoos:
Those are my last games. Playing against aggro you need to think about completing the quest and then drawing right the next turn, stall using branching paths for armor if you have a nourish waiting, once you start pulling 0 cost taunts it becomes easy to overwhelm them. It's not an easy match up and most of my losses are due to aggro but a 40-50% wr vs aggro with a high 90% vs slower decks makes the deck really strong in this meta.
Use ixlid and gloop sprayer to spam taunts vs aggro if you can, grizzled guardian with completed quest is awesome to gain board control too.
Don't use nourish for ramping unless you have a turn 5 nourish turn 8 Grizzled Guardian that pulls 2 quest completers, save it to draw with Barnabus, use branching paths defensively if you have other drawing methods, and you'll stand more of a chance.
Does rank 5 - 1 then have nothing to do with the actual ladder either?
And you're seeing a rogue, a lock and a hunter, and I won 2 out of those 3 games...in legend, against players who actually know how to play...
I'm here talking about the deck I created and helping everyone who has doubts and questions, meanwhile you're here posting your 8th or 9th comment about how a deck you have no interest in gets shit on by aggro, how my personal experience with this deck is "clickbait bullshit" and bringing toxic comments, so who's mad? You don't like it don't play it, simple as that bro, coming here to post comments over and over, downvoting everything I'm writting and then pressing F5 constantly says a lot about your emotional status.
was about to go to sleep.. but then i had to see this deck and craft quest... hello sunrise
Tried this deck for 10 games... it's nowhere even close to 79% WR... more like 45-50% - no ramp and u are dead meat vs aggro. Good for trolling tho
When one says x% win rate in a deck it doesn't mean you'll win x out of every 100 games or something like that, it means that the creator got a x% playing it. Just like when during a livestream Kolento wins 50 games in a row it says 50-0, it doesn't mean you'll win 50 games in a row. It happened, it should only talk about the potential of the deck but it doesn't explain the whole picture, obviously.
I'm a player who mostly plays big druid archetype and I've been legend a few times already, I'm not saying I'm pro by any means, but I'm experienced in druid decks and thus you might not have as much success as me with it, just like Kolento winning 50 games in a row with zoo doesn't mean I'd win 50 games in a row with zoo.
Of course there are some factors involving my winstreak, such as luck and skill, I won 79% of the first 33 games I played with this deck, that should talk about its consistency if you pilot it well enough and have luck in general, not about what you should expect.
Butthurtness none at all, I just said that anyone who played this deck and thinks it loses to hunters has not played this deck or has not understood how it plays. This deck wrecks most common hunter decks easily.
