This deck is literally insane in this meta. Does fantastic vs other druids, hunters and all kind of control/combo decks. Stands its ground against odd rogues and even shamans, suffers vs zoo and odd paladin and other hyper aggressive decks.
Top 100 playing exclusively with this deck all season:
This deck is autopilot basically so there's not much room for guides, some things to consider is that in most match ups holding recruiters after you complete the quest might be useful cause you might need Gloop Sprayer/Ixlid to duplicate Tyrantus(mostly vs druid, warlock and warriors) Hadronox, Lich king, or sometimes taunts to control aggression, and you don't want to recruit them randomly if the game will depend on who outvalues who.
Most games you can just spam the board and pull your entire deck before the opponent realizes and that's the fun part of it.
Mulligan for ramp, Oaken summons and vs aggro keep Jasper. You might keep Nourish vs control as a turn 5 nourish turn 8 Grizzled bear almost completes the quest.
Most games you don't need to ramp with nourish, it's better to have just enough mana to complete the quest and then draw with it instead. You don't need a 9MP barnabus with 0 card draw in hand, it's preferable a 7MP barnabus with a nourish in hand, taunts will stabilize.

Really well played by iShrubery, made very little mistakes in my opinion.

EDIT:
After watching quite a lot of people playing this deck I have to address some common mistakes I see:
Your goal is to finish the quest ASAP. You should not look for major board control or using nourish to ramp, finish the quest and you'll stabilize and not need mana at all. If you don't finish the quest by turn 8 in average you're not using this deck properly. Another mistake a lot of people make is drawing before completing the quest. Unless you have absolutely no plays incoming that could help you completing the quest, drawing before Barnabus is a mistake. And if you really have to draw, do the minimum. Don't use 2 branching paths card draws if you get an oaken summons on the first draw. Drawing a Malygos or a duplicator will make your life harder.
Another mistake people make is not tempoing Steel ragers properly. You have a charge 5-1 that can help you remove early threats, don't use Oaken summons if you have a Cursed Disciple in hand unless you can benefit of the Steel rager. Also, when you pull from your deck you're reducing the chances of drawing a quest completer next turn, so always use first the one in hand unless you really need Steel Rager.
Control the recruiters. This is probably the hardest part to pilot in this deck and where I see the most mistakes. In games vs aggro decks it's not so relevant, but in some games duplicating the key cards is vital. Also have control over what minions you have left. Using Oaken summons when your last minion is Ixlid can do major plays. Knowing when to duplicate and what to duplicate is also another point to master in this deck. Don't over commit unless you're really safe to do it.
You should realise that Barnabus makes all minions in your deck recruitable. Great for late game ;)
He addressed this in the first paragraph. It fatigues you too quickly and sometimes early game is a bigger issue, especially if you have tyrantus to beat up slow decks
I had a bug where guild recruiter recruited another guild recruiter before I played Barnabus. Anyway, very fun deck it inspired me to make this:
I'm still not having much luck with this despite having fun while playing it. I took out Hadronox and included a Fatespinner but then I also took out a Damaged Stegotron for aElder Longneck which has worked nicely. I also tried Malygos but only drew it once after completing the quest so I just swapped that for Alexstrasza. If I don't start ranking up more i'll probably stop playing this deck as much so i'll see how it goes.
Hit top 1000 with it! :D
Hi, nice deck I want try it, looks funny!
I haven't Ixlid, Fungal Lord and Tyrantus. Can I replace them or I need to craft these cards? In case of replace, for which cards?
Thank you!
You could play another Gloop Sprayer instead of Ixlid.
With Tyrantus you have little choices, but drop any absirdly big minion you may have. Ysera could possibly work fine.
Ixlid can be replaced by another gloop sprayer but if you don't reduce its cost with barnabus you're not going to be able to pull the strongest combos with Malygos+Swipe
Tyrantus can be replaced by any high value creature, but obviously it will be weaker against some decks.
Thank you for suggestions... i will try Gloop Sprayer instead of Ixlid and Alexstrasza instead of Tyrantus (i haven't Ysera)
:)
Thanks! I recently opened Ixlid, now I have a deck to play him in. Fun deck!
Nice deck Fleiva:] I would consider trying Alex instead of Ettin to make big impact and get lethal from nowhere...
I think that would be a bit too much commitment to the combo part of the deck and would reduce the effect of the recruiting. Could work, but I think there are decks better geared for the Alex-Maly combo.
climbing thx :====))
I tried the deck at legend and lost 4 out of 5 due to bad openings as said before. Matchups were odd roguex2 zoolocksx1 dr rogue with good opening x1 malygos druid. won one against an odd rogue but i had a godlike curve so it doesnt count.
Np,i always like people trying their own and i am happy if they are rewarded for it, but as i said before this is (for me at least) worse then previous quest druids.
It could easily get pulled by Guild Recruiter and be completely useless.
That would delay the quest and be useless most games I'm afraid.
Not sure about that. It could be played after a Guild Recruiter or a Cursed Disciple and Improve the deck's early game. In the late game, it could give you a second Gloop Sprayer or a second Hadronox
I'm not sure what the point of Malygos is in this deck since you are running only 4 damage spells.

Out of my last 7 games I lost 1 and 4 were won by Malygos, I think it's looking like a good fit.
Malygos only works in this deck if you draw him after you completed the quest. If you draw him before, it is a dead card most of the time as you can't play a swipe in the same turn. That's the reason why i'm not running Malygos because it is too unconsistant.
First of all, grats on crafting this deck. I think its a nice deck that can compete with any deck in this meta. However I think you still have suboptimal card choices.
1. You have way too many cards to recruit minions that cost 4 or less. you have 2 Oaken Summons 2 Guild Recruiter and still have 1 Grizzled Guardian but you only have 3 cards with cost 4 or less. I understand they can pull a big minion after you completed the quest, but they can also pull unwanted minions, and since you have enough card draw, they can put you close to fatigue really fast.
That being said, I would cut 1 Grizzled Guardian or 1 Guild Recruiter. (I personally decided to run no Grizzled Guardians because I'm more worried about the deck's early game, so I think cutting a Guild Recruiter hurts the deck earlygame, and the plan of completing the quest fast)
2. Since you removed Hadronox, I feel the 2xDamaged Stegotron are no longer needed as they are bad 6-drops and they are not coming back as a 5/12 taunts. I understand they can be also be pulled by recruit, but if that doesn't happen its a very suboptimal play. With or without the quest. That being said, I'm not sure if cutting Hadronox was a good decision.
I think Fatespinner was a good addition since it is a nice counter againts Hunters and Paladins and it helps you to complete the quest, However it must be used along with 1 Lesser Jasper Spellstone otherwise it is too slow.
Final Note: One of the very interesting cards in your deck, is Steel Rager which I'm actually running 2 of them. It works wonders because it can be pulled by recruit and have a instant impact on the board. It's like pulling a Kill Command from a recruit, that can kill a Hunter's Devilsaur, a Druid's Violet Teacher or a Rogue's Hench-Clan Thug, and helps you to complete the quest.
Other interesting cards that could see play in this deck are Charged Devilsaur, along with Star Aligner Someone should give them a try.
