Just as the warlock the goal is to out pressure your opponent. Only with the mage the consistancy is higher when you have Stargazer Luna and Aluneth in your opening hand.

Because we can not heal or damage our own hero as easy as warlock or priest, we capitalize from Crystallizer, worst case scenario, we could use our hero power

Mulligan:

Always look for Prince Keleseth, Stargazer Luna or Mana Wyrm when you have the coin at the start of the game. you can consider against slower classes like warrior or priest, to keep Aluneth

There are alot of 1 drops like Mirror Image Breath of Sindragosa and some 1 drop minions, they both have a great synergy with Stargazer Luna

The only bad match-ups would be odd warrior and even warlock, the other match-ups would be more even or in your favor
