Replaced Sprint  for Myra's Unstable Element for more fun!

This deck is so much fun.  I cannot tell you how many times I have been down below 10 health and the 1 mana cards from Espionage have saved my ass.  Really fun deck to play and every game is exciting.   I have not tried it on the ladder yet but I am sure it can compete. 10/10

I have 8-0 loss streak on this deck (from 13 to 15 rnk). But I still love this funny random. Fun. Very fun.

Really fun deck, Academic Espionage feels like playing a new deck every game, however I find it difficult to beat Warlock

Currently on a 8 win streak. Not sure why I love this deck so much, but the mechanics and combo's are really fun to play with. Yes it's very RNG dependent. Last game was versus a druid and I got ancient of war + 3x ancient of lore from espionage and Sprint combo. Poor token druid..

For people saying this not a good deck Jackie never said this Was a climbing deck for ladder yes I play this on ladder cause every deck on ladder is boring as hell and I sit there and wait for combo this deck another deck and I call each card played by the player while there sitting there ripening to a simple play the game is not rocket science so stop roping and play the dam game.

Why no Tess Greymane ?

Probably because she is too slow.

What could I use instead of Thalnos and Valeera?

Update: Running this deck without Thalnos and with only 1 Elekk, decided to put in a Spectral Cutlass and Cavern Shinyfinder instead(for dusting purposes). I took the deck to play some casual and currently I'm 11-1 with it. Proof.

Probably a bad deck to climb the ladders with, but a very nice deck to just play and have a good time with it.

For thalnos, it depends, you could use Tainted Zealot or some SD or sort of card draw like Novice Engeneer if you rather need card draw.
For Valeera, she is more or less late game card so you could try any larger legendary, likd Lich King

He was my very first legendary (Bloodmage Thalnos).  I thought I got gyped.  Very useful card.

Mulligan whole hand, get Prep and Academic Espo in it.

Turn 1: Prep, Academic Espo

(end of) Turn 3: Druid hero powers my Loot Hoarder which draws Evolving Spores from deck (it costs 1 now, remember)

Turn 4: Draw Tyrantus (lmao), play Tyrantus and Evolving Spores and what do I get? Windfury, of course.

Turn 5/6/7: Deal 24 damage to face due to Druid not drawing Spreading Plague/taunting up.

What a deck.

Fun, but gets walked on by every deck in ladder. I can feel my opponent relishing the opportunity to grab an easy win as the turns go by.
