i don't really agree with your first rule about not freezing when there is no threat. Against slow matchups like priest and druid, when they also play little cards, you have to sometimes have to throw out a freeze to draw new cards or risk not getting milled by a druid. I really run into this quite frequently right now, that i have to much cards and just "waste" some cards so i can dig through the deck.

What about Frost Lich Jaina as a replacement to maybe acolyte or stargazer luna. I often am scared to play acolyte later on because i could get milled cause i usually sit around 7+ cards.  frost lich jaina could be useful to further stall out the game with the extra armor, lifesteal and the freeze from waterelemantel.

actually just played a game with Frost Lich Jaina swapped in for Stargazer Luna and it saved my ass against a warrior. I survived by 1 hp, blizzarded his whole board (which had like 50 attack power) and i had the leyline manipulator on board, which healed me for 4hp (bringing me out of lethal range, because he had a 3dmg weapon) and i could cast another simulacrum to finish the combo for the next turn. Definetly keeping her in now because it fits the meta.

Kinda meh deck, wins about 45% on awerage, fun but not for ladder climb. 

Deck is rly garbage against fast-n-furious like ZooWarlocks, he almost in 70% games just dont give a puck about your freezes. He just can go all in all the time, and with Projects we give him more resourses to do that, if u just dont get 1 freeze in time, u probably lost. Cuz u dont have any time to play layline, he will Shrek u if u do that. Last time i got all combopieces, and guess what? He just in 2 turns deals about 42 dmg. This deck can be played if meta was more control. but on 10 to Legend u will see most of the times aggro or all shitlords on druids. Honestly. If u dont have some cards and they costs much, dont craft it, only for fun. IMO ofc.

Love this deck idea, just only had to craft two cards for it: 1xDoomsayer and 1x Simulacrum, the the deck was complete. Now I'm working on my skill to play this deck :-P

I have not played enough with this version but there are problems in pulling off Molten Reflection [/card] with so many 2 mana minions. I have played with 2 [card]Molten Reflection s (No Leyline Manipulator ) and it's better if you can't pull off Simulacrum and you have no Molten or your single molten got milled (Druid matchup with the Naturalize) . Leyline does give you a body but still...

Also, I'd rather sub Luna with Acolyte, Thalnos is just another 2 drop competing with the Apprentice.

Is Stargazer Luna worth crafting? Or can it survive without it?

I replaced her with a Flamestrike.

Working fine so far.

I've been playing a similar list, only a few changes, and imo, Aluneth would be equal to overdrawing. At least when I play,I sit with a lot of cards in hand, almost not even able to play Acolyte, due too the fear of milling a combo piece.

Also, on turn 6, u really are in the middle of just...stalling the game, looking for your combo pieces, so there is no mana for playing Aluneth, and well, later in the game u hopefully found the combo.

Maybe with some more early game removals and one or two less card draw cards, Aluneth would work, but I don't think u can cut one card in this list for Aluneth, it wouldn't work.

Bloodmage Thalnos. Still get the card draw, and sometimes, the spell damage will be huge.

I hasn't test the deck yet, but since you have only 2 secrets in the deck, what's the real value of 2 Arcanologist? Could you replace one of them for the something else? Another Acolyte of Pain or Novice Engineer for example

Cool deck. Will try it after work :D Aslo, the win condition should say 3 Sorcerer's Apprentice ( of which two cost 0) to avoid misunderstandings.

WoW! Thanks for the Leyline manipulator copying the 0 mana apprentice tip! I always waited to get 2 copies from Simulacrum before reducing their cost. That makes the combo a lot more flexible.

Thanks for the deck! Had to craft 2xSimulacrum for it. It rotates rather soon, but still worth it. Fun deck!
