Many Control Warrior decks typically opt to include only Odd-cost cards so they can have an upgraded Hero Power, but this one takes a different approach. With the infinite value generation of two Dead Man’s Hands, you can outlast every threat thrown in your path and win the game via fatigue. Europe’s Selkr outlasted his opponents to achieve a 60.8% winrate.
replacement for harrison?
Hello guys!
How can i defeat Shaman Shudderwock deck and Druid Azalina Soulthief + King Togwaggle deck.
I think the only way to win is to be super happy they fuck up their combo, but the chance is low such these are easy to play combos ([salty_mode=on] Especially the Shudderwock crap could be played by a monkey[salty_mode=off]). So it's kinda auto loss. There are Control Warrior decks out there which have Azalina Soulthief and Zola the Gorgon included so you can steal their Shudderwock and try to outvalue them with battlecries such as Drywhisker Armorer. Keep in mind not to waste the battlecry power with playing cards like Giggling Inventor.
With so many variations on control Warrior around, this deck jumps out as one of the better ones. Played a few games with the list, check them out;
(Games start at 5:05)
The deck feels tight and effective, with the 1-of inclusions really paying off! Only thing I'd like to experiment with is getting a Voodoo Doll in there for some extra single-target removal.
As always, big thanks for finding the deck and posting it up <3
Oh, I found the deck I was fighting against today :) - not easy and soft match up to play against, I got the win with custom Rogue deck where I put Elise and hero Valeera card but also agonies and weapons that activate them. In Valeera hero card form I played x2 Elise and then got x4 packs to open in summary etc. etc, PS: Sadly that warrior with even two Dead Man's Hand cant stand against Espionage Rogue - from 2 meetings didnt even win 1 and I have that luck - whenever I pick control warrior I get to fight against Espionage Rogue...
Sorry but Lk is just bad in this deck
I'm running Ysera instead
Same as me :-)
I really like this one. I feel it suits me a lot better than the more popular Odd Warrior. I just love the possibility to shuffle more and more Brawls and Warpaths to your deck.
For mulligan, you'd probably keep stuff like:
These cards are against your general aggressive decks like odd rogue, baku odd paladin and zoo warlock
In more control matchups:
Cards to use for Dead Man's Hand
Overall it's just a general guideline to follow but it gives you a rough idea of how to go about mulligan and Dead Man's Hand usage
How do you know whether to play garrosh or dr. boom? Which matchups for which
What do you have to dead man's other than omega assembly
Garrosh is for anti-aggro. Boom is for value.
Dead Man's Hand is for winning the fatigue matches. Ideally you don't want to DMH either hero card back into your deck.
My question about this deck is Lich King. Sure it's a great value card, but 2 out of the 8 DK cards destroy the DMH infinite value and you certainly can't just shuffle them in.
I put in Card Zilliax instead of LC works like a charm :)
I wonder of often Selkr faced taunt druid, I'd throw a Cornered Sentry just in case. Can get you armor (through drywisker) and be useful as a brawl activator. Seems better than running just one Eternium Rover anyway.
