I'll write a detailed guide if the deck gets some interest.
To introduce myself, the name's Sedder, play HS since GVG, rogue is my main class. I'll be glad to give some tips that might be helpful :3
I was really tired of Standart mode, so i decided to come back to Wild. My favorite Rogue decks were Oil and Mill. So its 2018 and the cards say "why not both?"
After some games swapped Antique Healbot for Assassinate as you have enough heal with lifesteal most of times, but a hard removal helps to get through a lagre taunt for the final blow
NOTE: Wow, looks like the deck really got some attention. So, as i've promised i'll make a guide. It'll be ready be Tuesday (11 sept). Please feel free to comment, ask questions and suggest replacements
no way this deck has 74% WR. maybe on rank 20. Im playing Kingsbane forever in Wild, because I love the deck and claim to have the most refined list, but the deck is still way too inconsistent to have such high winrates.
Emperor basically does nothing in the deck there, Lab Recruiter is just objectively better than Gang Up most of the time, and Elven Minstrel is a MUST in modern versions of the deck. The value it gives for getting your dagger buffs is insane.
nope, i tried recruiter and the fact it cant target opponents creautres makes it worse, It also makes Piper inconsitent.
Emperor helps for clunky hands in the later turns or to get multiple spells off with Valeera or allows for a fast Valeera. But its probably the only flexslot you could replace with a 2nd Doomerang.
Minstrel is worse than Piper, because the deck doesnt suffer card advantage but consistency and Piper always tutors for Shinyfinder into Kingsbane. On top of that, Minstrel also needs combo to work.
Besides the deck doesnt even run creature based dagger buffs??!, thats Standard format tech! You dont even get the list, but downvote it, what kind of retard are you?
There are 2 reasons why Lab Recruiter is better than Gang Up
(1) Same cost and the same effect (we usualy want to use it on our murloc). So Lab Recruiter does the same Gang Up does, but you get a free 3/2 minion.
(2) Also if you lost your knife completely (somehow) you have an infinite deck with Valeera the Hollow and Lab Recruiter if you are facing a mirror match
Really enjoying the deck, have had some rough matchups thus far and am on the negative win % side of things currently. I think I try to play too much for value instead of just trying to get my hand going. I have started to win a bit more after making some small changes to my play style.
I am def looking forward to some insight as to how you play the deck and what you look for on certain matchups. At the present moment I have started to mulligan hard for Kingsbane in my starting hand or at the very least Cavern Shinyfinder.
I did play a couple of games with -1 Leeching Poison +1 Augmented Elekk, but it was just too hard to actually get Leeching Poison then and I usually ended up losing because of no lifesteal/healing abilities. the one game I did win though was awesome because I had so many extra cards in my deck thanks to Augmented Elekk.
Valeera + Kingsbane lets you go infinite on cards...
Best replacement for Captain Greenskin?
Goblin Auto-Barber gives you +1 damage, but you miss out on the +1 durability which is what Captain Greenskin is there for since Kingsbane retains all buffs it receives.
Captain Greenskin is here only for Durability of you weapon. +1 dmg is fine, but +1 dura gives you much more. You can probably replace him with a tech card. Giggling Inventor is doing good vs aggro. Also the Giggling Inventor + Shadowstep combo is pretty nice vs Odd Paladin and other stuff like him
