Took out the corrupting mists for defile and explosive sheep. I also think explosive sheep are more useful here than the Hellfires due to Rend having late game direct dmg.
I also took out an Archane Elemental to edge in a Primodial Drake, it just seems to be the more AoE you have against Rend the better. But without the 2nd Archane Elemental the win condition slowed down.
Thank you! still works very well. Replaced the antique healbots though. I think the Cult Apothecary works better. Also Abyssal Enforcer helped a lot clearing the board.
Hi, Sparkygravity, I am the author of the original deck.
I took a look at your changes, they look interesting. I really like the idea of using Primordial Drake, it certainly worth a try. Rotten Applebaum is probably okay too. I actually considered him, when I worked on my deck. He didn't make it into the final version, but I do not recall, why I excluded him. I don't think, that there was a significant reason though, otherwise I would remember it.
Defile is a quite powerful tool in PvP against aggro, but in this particlar deck it may be difficult to pull it off, since neither you nor the boss has 1-health creatures... except Onyxia's whelps (Defile will not kill her) and your Sheep (which is a board clear by itself, so it does not matter). It could be okay actually, but I would do a lot of testing, before adding it into the deck.
I also have doubts about Explosive Sheep, since one turn explosion delay is actually a very bad thing. You probably will lose more than 3 health from creature's attacks, which would die to Hellfire otherwise. Considering that you can see, what the next Rend's Hero Power is, you probably can play the sheep preventively, but you can only do this on the clear board, which means, that you should combo it with some other board clear and it kind of negates its better cost. However, in early game you can trigger Sheep's explosion one turn earler, which is actually significant advantage. So there are some cons and pros to consider.
Also in most cases it is sub-optimal to use 1 copy of a non-legendary card, unless there is a specific reason to use just one copy. The best decks usually have 2 copies of most cards, since spreading usually reduce decks power and consistency.
Maybe I'll try your deck in future to find out how good your changes are, but I am really busy these days with Boomsday's Puzzle Lab (I am going to create my videos for it) and some other activities.

Yeah I totally agree consistency is better. I only had one corrupting mist, and the delay often cost me more than 5 health so I really wanted something immediate and I also had two conditions where defile would have been beautiful, so I ended up running it... But I can agree that defile is hit and miss and definitely better PvP.
