I wanted to play Boom-Zooka the minute the card was spoiled. The decks basically a spell hunter shell but instead of running To My Side, Rhok'delar and a few secrets/removal we run Boom-Zooka and 7 Deathrattle minions. I'll do a a bit more of a write up and mulligan list/guide if there's enough interest later. So far I've climbed from Rank 9 to 3 with this deck with a fairly health win/loss ratio, but I haven't always had the deck tracker up so I can't give ya exact numbers.

With only 5 secrets it can be hard to get a lot of value out of Lesser Emerald Spellstone. You're often going to be playing it for 3 or even 2 minions, which feels bad but even at 2 the cards fine. In the match-ups where board matters you'd rather just slam it on turn 5 for 2. If you want a little more consistency you can run more secrets but this is my current list

As for the match-ups we can usually slow down odd rogue and zoolock and stabilize before they manage to pull lethal. Most of the decks removal (explosive trap, unleash the hounds, candleshot, deathstalker, and flanking strike) is targeted at beating these decks because it's where we get a good amount of our wins.  If you can survive to a 3 or even 4 wolf spell stone you're going to win usually.

As for combo we tend to just flat out lose to priest. Psychic scream hurts our board way too much and we won't get enough value out of Deathstalker Rexxar to matter before they just blow us up. Druids combo is pretty similar but since they have a much harder time dealing with the deathrattles and spellstones we have an okay shot at them. They best way to beat these decks is try to get early spellstones off, hope they can't deal with a Boom-Zooka, or slam Deathstalker and take as aggressive cards as you can.

Warrior decks are just free wins right now because of Deathstalker. Just don't lose to a cheesy magnetize early and you will win 100% of matches here.

Most matchups either come down to denying aggro the board, landing a boom-zooka, or just getting to Rexxar and winning off of that. What boom-zooka does really well is turning the tide against decks that are going to make it a close game.  Again I'll do a more in -depth write-up if people want it but I'm just happy to be playing a deck I came up with in the higher ranks. If you have removal suggestions or better deathrattle minion suggestions I'm all ears. I tried doing a Kathrena/Abominable Bowman synergy but there just aren't enough good deathrattle beasties right now. Lastly if you want a better shot at combo decks you can run tracking to try to get to your Rexxar sooner, but I found that tracking is just too slow and will make you lose more matchups to zoolock and oddrogue.
