Update 12.08.2018: This deck can be currently found on HSReplay.
If you feel like you can pilot Control decks, let me introduce you to my Boomsday take on Control Warrior!
I tried few decks already but this so far performed really well. It looks like while pure Mech Warrior is not powerfull in Wild. The Control Warrior which uses Dr. Boom, Mad Genius however. was slaying ladder for me. So far I have 24-7 with this deck and it really feels like Warrior is doing something powerfull.
Mulligan
Aggro: Mountainfire Armor, Weapons Project, Warpath, Blood Razor. If you feel confident enough Mossy Horror for mid-game turn 6
Midrange: Execute,Shield Block, Mountainfire Armor, Weapons Project, Warpath, Blood Razor, Brawl
Combo and Control: Dirty Rat, Shield Block,Brawl, Shieldslam or Execute. Coldlight Oracle, Dr. Boom, Mad Genius
The list below features the most imnportant cards in the deck which make this deck rewarding to play and interesting to play:
Weapons Project : This is a solid card for Control Warrior for controlling the board early. Also it is pretty good weapon removal for Skull,Aluneth and Kingsbane
Dead Man's Hand This card allows you to go infinite. And it is pretty good wincondition against Rogues that are trying to do the same)
Skulking Geist Don't want Jade Druid to go infinite? Do you hate when Inner Fire buffs fat Priest minion and hurts your face? Do you really hate those Deadly Poisons from Kingsbane Rogue? Skulking Geist is amazing solution! Now only for 400 dust!
Mossy Horror: Nothing to say. Tech card against small minions and Spreading Plague
Dirty Rat: Don't you hate when opponent tries to do some op combo? I mean who doesn't right? Well Dirty Rat can solve that problem and pull important combo piece or strong wincondition.
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius: Nothing to say. Warrior finally got late game focused Hero card and its amazing.
N'Zoth, the Corruptor: I think it's pretty obvious that your opponents is gonna loose when you swarm your board with endless N'Zoths. ;)
Flexible cards:
Coldlight Oracle can be easily replaced by the Acolyte of Pain. It all depends on the local meta that you are facing. Are you facing more Aggro,Tempo and Midrange decks? Then Acolyte is definitelly better. Are you facing Mill,Combo and Control decks? Then Coldlight is better.
100% lose rate. Every deck I face is mill.
Edit: apologies - I thought this was the other version. Haven't tried this yet.
No problem :P
You should'nt loose to mill deck as long as you are dumping useless cards in this matchup, let your opponent draw for you and keep shuffling with DMH)
Seems to be 50/50 for me, though in those scenarios, I'm either against a combo deck and fail to Dirty Rat away their pieces, or the second copy of Dead Man's Hand is stuck at the bottom of the deck/milled away thanks to enemy's parallel draw.
Any thoughts about including Coldlight Oracle in the deck to burn enemy combo pieces/draw into DMH even faster, or is that too risky?
I currently made some changes and as you can see I added 2 Acolytes because our draw can be unreliable. I think that if you want to try to Mill your opponent, replace them with Coldlights. I must warn you though that in matchups like Even Shaman,Zoolock or any other Midrange,Tempo or Aggro deck Coldlight is a terrible idea. Also don't be afraid to dump some cards against Mill. You can easily clear their board with 1 Warpath or 1 Brawl. So don't hold other boardclears. Hold only one for DMH. Don't hold Battle Rage since they are trying to mill you. They will draw cards for you anyway etc. This deck currently has 12 2 cost cards and 6 3 cost cards so dumping some cards shouldn't be a problem.
Nice deck, is there any chance to fit Geosculptor Yip somewhere in here?
Based on my experience: Right now he is too slow. I've faced 5 versions of Infinite Rogues and I had to play my turns really carefully in order to get rewarded. N'Zoth is doing boardfilling job already and Dr.Booms Hero Powers are actually crazy. You can try him instead of Sleep with the Fishes since its questionable card that I've p;ut as sometimes good removal, but I doubt it will be good,
