About me
I'm a HS player since beta and I kinda miss the old fun HS had back in Vanilla and GvG. With the release of The Boomsday Project, I am looking forward to combining the fun of new mechs and the magnetic keyword with my favourite class (Paladin), while keeping the deck viable for ranked play.
Minions
- Righteous Protector - Given this deck doesn't include Glow-Tron, this is still the best 1-drop.
- Crystalsmith Kangor - Good value as is, though further enhances other cards in this deck.
- Stonehill Defender - Can discover a great array of useful taunt cards, from Sunkeeper Tarim and Tirion Fordring, to powerful mechs like Zilliax.
- Bronze Gatekeeper - Optional mech card, though it should be only used as a buff.
- Coppertail Imposter - The main target for buffs and magnetic upgrades, thanks to its stealth, making it (almost) unkillable until your next turn.
- Annoy-o-Module - Best used as an upgrade, though can be used as tempo if the situation demands it.
- Corpsetaker - Feeds off of cards like Crystalsmith Kangor, Chillblade Champion, Annoy-o-Module and Zilliax.
- Chillblade Champion - OTK or huge heal potential, best used with buffs.
- Zilliax - The ultimate buff of this deck. Also it should be the main target of Kangor's Endless Army.
- Wargear - 5/5 flexible mech version of Blessing of Kings.
- Sunkeeper Tarim - Sunkeeperino Kripperino
Spells
- Sound the Bells! - Nice buff, going hand in hand with the magnetic keyword.
- Blessing of Kings - Standard buff.
- Consecration - Vital in some match-ups, especially versus aggro.
- Spikeridged Steed - Best used with strong minions.
- Kangor's Endless Army - The ultimate late game tool, you should aim for it to land on Zilliax (or mechs buffed by it) and buffed versions of Coppertail Imposter/Wargear and Annoy-o-Module.
Weapons
- Truesilver Champion - Good combo with Crystalsmith Kangor.
Mulligan
You should look for Righteous Protector, Crystalsmith Kangor, Stonehill Defender. If any 4-cost minion lands in your hand it shouldn't be a problem, though Corpsetaker would be the perfect card.
Replacements
- You can replace both copies of Bronze Gatekeeper with combinations of Hydrologist and Equality (optimal combiation would be 1/1, though 2/0 and 0/2 work as well).
- You can cut some of the healing combo and go for Glow-Tron (for more early game mech presence) or Tirion Fording (for some more late game control).
Note
If you got here, thanks for your time! While I know my deck won't be perfect, I will look forward to tweaking it after Boomsday launches. Have a good one!
