 I have to agree.. Every new expansion he puts out a bunch of theorycrafts, and they usually seem like good decks on paper (not always), but they just dont cut it.. A new meta is just too hard to predict.

Being able to counter shudderwock is important for a pure control deck, even if its a rare encounter.. im not sold on this deck for another reason.. how are you possibly going to win against even lock mechathun if that becomes a thing

Nah, the idea is it hard counters aggro and also smashes on shudderwock, which is your main threat if you are playing a control deck.

Makes me seethe that the win con is literally Omega Assembly -> DMH.  You can do better than that, Trump.

Heh, no mechs in the deck... It's like Trump's Plantlock, maybe not bad on the paper but disappear second day of the meta, because new cards will see play and there will be few totally new archetypes. 

I highly doubt that a deck with actually zero synergy and no win condition will actually be that of Trump's. If this is actually Trump, I'm so sorry, but this does not seem like a good deck for what it's made to be.

I think youre going to be favored when it comes to playing shudderwock.. the drywhisker cornered sentry should always keep your armor out of their range.. you would just need to be concerned about additional lifedrinkers they get off of grumble or a zola, the gorgan.. 3 or 4 lifedrinkers might beat you. Running one in your deck might be enough to ensure victory

What's the purpose of Lifedrinker ? this is a control/value deck..

This deck has a single sentence in its description and as it happens it states the purpose of Lifedrinker. How could you miss that? :D

Why not to add Elise the Trailblazer for extra value?

As Shudderwock your best bet is to play it early as possible (ideally without Grumble) vs this deck and try to win with the help of random Hagatha cards (Maybe even tech in Elise for the value). It's possible, but you have to know they are running this deck at the start, and whoever draws Hagatha or Boom early will make a big difference.

I think also Shudderwocks will run Elementary Reaction which can also help on the value side of things.
