The Azalina Soulthief and Lifedrinker defeat Shudderwock, so they're necessary if Shudderwock is in the meta.
I'm currently on a 100% win rate with this deck.
I don't plan to play more than one game though. ^^
Lolz
I can't see why other people don't appreciate your style of humor.
It's just sad that today there is no place for control warrior. With all the crazy cheating minions, there is simply not enough control cards to keep answering those threats.
The deck counters Shudderwock. The deck resembles the original control warrior from a year ago. A lot of people enjoy the fatigue game plan style. The deck is not easy to pilot and requires patience and commitment to your plays.
So far 11-2 Rank 4 five stars. Started at Rank 5 floor.
I tried this, but the odd version is soooo much better. None of the two drops make up for tank up, when going long, and tbh reckless flury, and supercolider have seriously overperfomered and made warpath and blood razor look like shit.
I didn't want to craft him either so I replaced him with Primordial Drake which works far better against Zoo that King Mosh ever would be.
I didn't see a use of having King Mosh so I replaced him with Primordial Drake. Works better against Zoo decks.
I've put Rotface, but I'm willing to try Geosculptor Yip, although I know they don't replace King Mosh removal.
2nd dead mans hand
Looking at this deck, you often wonder how the hell does this thing win? Then you play it and realize that it wins by lasting to the end when they are out of cards and have nothing left to play. Every single game.
The Lifedrinker though is a wasted card slot. Shudderwok is so remote that wasting a card slot like this is stupid. The one deck this deck fears the most is Mecha'thun. It's basically an auto win for your opponent because this deck has no damage and it wants to last until both decks are empty which is where Mecha'thun wants to be also. The worst part is it's very hard to determine if your opponent is playing that card so you waste a lot of time when you should be conceding from the start.
vs aggro this deck have no chance but vs control or midrage very winratio :D
yet to loose to aggro.
Vs aggro you are supposed to hold wait till the last minute to use your removal and armor. You make them spill their whole hand start removing and then tank up.
i like this deck.. unfortunately it losses to Even Mecha'thun Warlock.. never the less its a +1 from me.
Worst. Advice. Ever.
Trump is quite possibly the worst person at predicting a card's power level. Much too close-minded, and only attempts to determine if the card will be good in current decks, and not potential new decks. If you're thinking about crafting cards/whole decks purely following his reviews, I strongly suggest you rethink your loss of dust.
what are you on mate???
A sweet list that really shows off the power of Dr.Boom! Played some games with it and had a blast, check them out;
(Games start at 3:50)
Everything feels great, it'll be interesting to see how the archetype changes over the next few weeks. After not seeing any Shudderwock, I replaced the Azelina/Lifedrinker with a Gluttonous Ooze and a Geosculptor Yip which worked great!
Cheers and thanks for the deck!
This deck is pretty good in my opinion, but there is a certainly a much better control warrior to be found. With all the Zoo and Token going around, I think it will be a beast.
BTW after winning a few games off its back, you begin to realise that Beryllium Nullifier - the card that Trump ridiculed the most in his set review - is actually strong. 'Can't be targeted' is a very strong effect when it comes with Magnetic.
I love how people automatically diss it because it costs so much. But having something already on the board is so easy with Mech Warrior. Then it just spirals out of control once it hits the board. It's won me so many games.
To me, decks that are focused on countering other deck(especially Shudderwock) are pretty boring, and now shudderwock has no place to live, zoolock or other aggro decks came out as predicted.
Idea is pretty simple: If you kill shudderwock shaman early you win, if he doesnt draw shudderwock you win, if shudderwock plays battlecries in wrong order you win.
what is king mosh for, is he really needed? I don't have it yet. I could craft but would prefer not to.
can I watch you play some games?
I don't know which deck to finish right now. I could play warrior, druid, hunter or shaman most likely. but wanna play mech decks the most so this makes sense. also the azalina shuderwok thing is badass.
