Defile only repeats a certain number of times (13, according to the Hearthstone wiki) but that knocked Illhoof low enough for me to finish him off. Thanks!

So easy, won on 4th turn when I could use defile on a 2/1 minion. It just kept going until he was dead

Thanks a lot. Win at second try. The lucky is a part of this deck, obv, if u do not fish defile u cannot win ;-). Win at second try also if defile stops when Mal was at 8 lifepoint, but I keep on my hands darkbomb and drain souls so... ;-) Thanks a lot.

Glad you made it through, but yes that’s why i usually try to have 2-3 minions up to bring his HP down fast :)

lmao this crashed my game when he had played 3 imps out. It counted as a win though!

I got the combo off....but once he reached 12 health it stopped working. I'm wondering if there is a limit to how many times defile can actually be cast. If so it may not work if he only has 2 imps out. 

You have to keep in mind the health aspect of it. If the imps or other minions on the board do not have a 1/2 health combo constantly up then it will cancel the defile. You have to make sure the imp health is a 1 / 2 combo so every time one dies and respawns there is still another one with 1 hp left to continue the defile cycle.

No, there’s a limit to how many times Defile recasts—not sure of the exact limit, but it fired off a dozen or so times for me then stopped. Still was able to finish it from there, though!
