So, I know what you are thinking: "A Miracle Rogue with no sense cards like Mecha'thun and Myra's Unstable Element? You are crazy!"
Let me introduce you to the new best "fantacombo" of the century!
Before start leave an upvote on this deck for more strange combo decks!
Cards needed for the combo:
-
- Mecha'thun: it's the core card: without this the combo won't work.
- Myra's Unstable Element: it's an important card that helps you to clear your deck.
- 1x Voodoo Doll: it's an important piece of the combo because it will kill Mecha'thun.
- 2x Shadowstep: they are the cards that allows you to get cheaper Voodoo Doll and Mecha'thun.
- 1x Backstab: it allows you to kill Voodoo Doll
How the combo works:
Be sure to have Mecha'thun, Voodoo Doll, 2x Shadowstep, Myra's Unstable Element and 1x Backstab in your hand.
- Use Myra's Unstable Element to get an empty deck and play every card drawn
- Play Mecha'thun and return this to your hand with Shadowstep
- Play Voodoo Doll and return this to your hand with Shadowstep
- When your board, deck, and hand are empty of not combo cards, play Mecha'thun and target him with Voodoo Doll.
- Kill Voodoo Doll with Backstab and win! :D
Tips:
-
- You can replace the rest of the deck with other cards, but i think that a miracle Rogue [a Rogue that draws so many times] is the best choice.
- Do the combo in the explained order, because if you use Myra's Unstable Element with a not full/semi-full hand you are forced to play many other cards.
- You aren't forced to win with the combo: you can use also combo cards for a tempo play especially versus an aggro deck.
Fan's combo ideas:
As I repeated many times, Assassinate WON'T kill one of your minion!
- Use Myra's Unstable Element with the same combo pieces in your hand.
- Use Voodoo Doll and Shadowstep it.
- Play Mecha'thun and use a The Coin [gained with WANTED!]
- Play Voodoo Doll, Backstab it and win! :D
- Use Myra's Unstable Element with the same combo pieces in your hand.
- Use Voodoo Doll and Shadowstep it.
- Play Galvanizer [on Mecha'thun]
- Play Mecha'thun and Voodoo Doll it.
- Backstab Voodoo Doll and win! :D
Edits:
- Removed 2x Fal'dorei Strider and added 2x Hench-Clan Thug
I hope so much that you enjoyed this deck, leave an upvote and share this strange deck with your friends! :D
You just took a good deck and put a handful of bad and uninteresting cards in it. Not gonna work and you will be frustrated by playing it
I for one will be pushing Mecha'thun Druid at launch because I feel that it will be the most consistent and the best class to pull this kind of combo off with because of how much of Druids current package is basically designed for this kind of card, but good luck to you with trying to make this deck work. If you want to try the Druid variant that I have brewed up at launch as well just shoot me a message.
As a avid druid main I really like the idea of Mecha'Thun Druid, but I've got to say the main issue is that in probably half my games as any druid deck running draw, I have one or two draw cards dead in my hand at the end. I don't even run UI in my taunt druid.
The issue is if, for instance, you end up with UI in your final hand, you absolutely must play it or else you can't use Mecha'Thun. Spending 10 mana to Deal 10 damage to yourself and summon a 5/5 will probably lose you the game at that point.
I think the only really feasible Mecha'Thun class is Warlock.
because it's rigged.
the people that get front page all the time generally have followers of some kind that boost them.
not saying this is the case with every single deck, but it happens (and it happens a lot)
(the mecha'thun warlock does look easier to pull off as well IMO. We will just have to wait and see what does best in practice. It's a case of being able to stall till your hand is drawn with warlock and warlock has got the tools to stall. Warlock also is the only class that can wipe the board and burn their entire hand in one.... so rogue can draw their deck, and maybe draw OK, but they have no removal.)
BTW, do we need to clear the opponents board as well? if this is the case it's going to be way tougher for other classes to do. cataclysm was made for mecha'thun.
It specifies you, so no, the enemy board doesn't need to be empty.
I would play Evasion as well, that card could help to stay alive until you can combo and win.
I love the idea and concept of this deck. It reminds me of exodia mage. The question is in the new meta can you survive long enough to get off the combo. I can't wait to find out!
Discounting C'thun with Sonya is a terrible strategy. You can't play both in the same turn, and even if you'd need some way to kill C'thun on top of it. And if you try to leave it up on board for next turn, it WILL die.
After you get all combo pieces, you will need 5 turns to do combo or i am wrong?
Did you know you can play more than one card in a turn?
I thought you can play only one!
I think this needs to much preparation with turns where you don't do anything (Mecha'thun + Shadowstep). I prefer 2 coins from wanted and then Prep + Assassinate, see
Also you have to rely on drawing Unstable Element soon enough. I prefer a hemet build.
Your Assassinate Will NOT KILL Mecha'thun
Lol thank you for making my day. This is just hilarious.
Should remove Fal'dorei Strider or after Myra's Unstable Element you will have 3 spiders on the board and this could be an issue...
I forgot Voodoo Doll! Great Idea! I will give it a try for sure.
Excited to try this one.
2 do nothing turn?
You really advising us to play like that ?
t10 play Mecha'thun + get it back
t11 play Voodoo Doll + bunch of cards which are random (and we can't destroy some minions with Voodoo Doll because we need Voodoo Doll for combo ) + get it back
t12 win if they didn't win because you did nothing in last 2 turns.
i mean u don‘t have to do it after playing the legendary spell right you can do it before and play something else for 7 mana and 2 mana for both of the turns right??
dude are you even into statistics xd
