Probably one of the most fun decks I've ever played with. Nice creation
What to remove for umbra do you guys think?
An Elixir probably
Although it seems fun, deck is really bad, if your first 2 rounds you draw bad, you have already lost. Its too late
Not only did I have a great time trying this deck out, But I also found out that it works very well in the current meta. If you want something fun to play before the expansion comes out, this is what you need! I made a video showcasing the deck in its glory, I hope you all enjoy.
Only 5 dragons...not going to be able to count on Duskbreaker's battlecry. Dragon synergy decks usually run 7-8 dragons for reliable activation. I get that dragon's egg is here and that adds a little bit more synergy...but IMO there's really not enough to justify the dragons that are in the deck.
Cool. I was actually tinkering with this exact same concept last week except with meat wagon steambot instead of the dragon package. Great minds think alike! You should definitely give Umbra a testing in this deck btw. She's insane on turn 7 with twilight's call or just some eggs
What is the basic mulligan and must keeps vs aggro and control
Duskbreaker and Northshire Cleric vs Aggro
As the Dead Ringer, looks promising.
Hey!
I tested this dekc out and I have to say that it perfomed well for me! I think the first game I had was just the examplary how the deck should work and it was nuts! Feels even better when you destroy shudderwock with it. If you are interested you can check out the gameplay bellow!
Have a nice day!
Thanks for this deck, it's very fun and flexible.
Adaptation, boy. You can add Primordial Drake.
Hey! I really like this deck, and I've been trying it out to some success. Just wanted to ask if you are planning to write a guide on it? Like what to mulligan for, etc. Also, do you really need Ysera? I feel like this deck is kind of weak against aggro, and Ysera just weighs down your hand.
Two Primordial Drake should be interesting additions against an aggressive metagame.
But I'm not sure about what to remove. Maybe Divine Spirit ?
I've been trying some other version after getting wrecked horribly from lots and lots of aggro decks (rank 4-5), and I'm using this list currently: -1 Ysera, -1 Radiant Elemental, -2 Divine Spirit, -2 Inner Fire, +2 Wild Pyromancer, +2 Shadow Word: Death (for Evenlock, mostly), +1 Lady in White, +1 Gluttonous Ooze.
I'm not so sure on keeping 2 shadow word deaths, or on Lady in White, though it has really helped me get past the first few turns against aggro decks, which apparently are running rampart right now.
EDIT: I cut 1 SW:D and LiW for 2 Primordial Drakes, and that's much better. Duskbreakers are active more often and taunt is really nice against aggro.
Why you dont use Lady in White ?
It's too slow. You need your eggs in early anyway and Inner Fire should be played aggressively.
An interesting list that seems to have a bit of a learning curve. Played a few games with it while still trying to wrap my head around things, check them out;
(Games start at 4:41)
Definitely going to grind out some more games with this off stream. How often do you find yourself getting the Inner Fire win?
Thank you so much for the list, cheers!
Cool video!
I definitely think you should have been able to win the 2 last games though. Your turn after the Druid plays Master Oakheart loses you the game and against Control Mage, playing the value with Swamp Dragon Egg instead of counting on Devilsaur Egg is a good option. Not much to do against Paladin, even if you had hit a dragon to play your Duskbreaker you probably would have lost. I've thought of adding Primordial Drake against aggro, but well... what to remove ?
The decklist is far from being optimized so feel free to test things!
