Hello guys! Today, I made a deck that you all probably never heard of: Inspire Even Mage. I did see one YouTube video about this guy who faced another person playing this deck, so I decided to try this deck out myself. Surprisingly, this deck works well around rank 10. I will give card explanations of this deck down below.
Coldarra Drake:
This, besides Genn Greymane, has got to be one of the most important cards in the deck. With the Coldarra Drake (try keeping it alive as long as possible), you can infinitely deal one damage for one mana.
Emperor Thaurissan:
With the Emperor, you should get get at least one tick on your Coldarra Drake. Like I said earlier, Coldarra Drake allows you to use your hero power infinitely. The more ticks on the Coldarra, the more times you can use your hero power.
Fallen Hero & Ice Walker:
These cards synergize well with Coldarra Drake because they make your hero power more valuable.
Tournament Medic & Kodorider & Dalaran Aspirant:
Tournament Medic could help with heal and Kodorider could help for board control. Dalaran Aspirant combos well with spells like Frostbolt or Fireball.
Rhonin:
Rhonin is optional in this deck. I find him pretty useful with Dalaran Aspirant with the Arcane Missles that he gives when he dies. If you don't have Rhonin, I suggest replacing him with card draw like another Loot Hoarder or Bloodmage Thalnos.
You've actually won some games with this? I've only tried maybe a half dozen times and it hasn't been even remotely close once.
Ok, finally won one against a Jade Druid of all decks -- lol. I wonder if there's someway to make this more of a combo deck, almost like a Shadow Priest OTK, if you can reduce the cost on Fallen Hero (ideally both) with Emperor Thaurissan and manage to stick a Coldarra Drake the turn before, you'd be able to get 24 damage out of your hero power in a single turn. Maybe making use of a control shell?
I don't know. But the tempo gameplay hasn't worked for me at all yet. What kind of winrate do you have with it?
This deck worked out for me nearly 60 percent of the time.
I guess playing Arcane Keysmith into Duplicate would guarantee multiple ticks with Thaurissan, but the odds of getting Duplicate out of it is pretty low. In order to deal a solid 32 damage to the opponent, you would have to get four ticks on the Coldarra Drake and both the Fallen Heroes.
You could stick the Open the Waygate quest in the deck (Genn will still activate because the quest is not in the deck) and put Shimmering Tempest and Lesser Ruby Spellstone in there as well. With Thaurissan, get at least one tick on both the Fallen Heroes and either Time Warp or Coldarra Drake. The next turn, play Coldarra into Time Warp, then play both the Fallen Heroes next turn and you have an OTK.
Nearly 60 percent! Well done! It's a fun idea. Seeing what I can do with your template that better fits my play style.
I like the quest idea. That might work. I got some Blizzards in now -- board clear was the biggest hurdle for me in most matches -- and a few more spells and draw. I'll see how it goes.
Sorry; I miscalculated. You would need a Thaurissan tick on all the pieces and play Time Warp, Coldarra Drake, and a Fallen Hero in one turn, then putting the other Fallen Hero the next turn. That should deal 27 damage to the enemy hero.
Quest won't work. Genn doesn't go off.
