Hey I'm back again with a great list that I took out back, shot in the ankles and replaced what made it good with janky garbage. This time I took Even Warlock, decided that the namesake of the deck, the even mechanic, was boring and didn't let me play stupid cards so I took those things out and put in a new combo, that being the Howlfiend + Treachery + Defile along with putting in some other fun cards such as  Carnivorous Cube, Despicable Dreadlord and other odd cards.

To break down the combo, you go and line up a defile (which helps a lot with guldan), then play a Howlfiend, play Treachery then Defile, then start praying that you hit their Shudderwock, Archmage Antonidas or any other big finisher a deck might have. Because of that, when you think about it, this deck's combo is basically just a worst Shudderwock combo as it does not completely win the game sometimes. While this combo does seem janky and unreliable (because it is), don't underestimate the power of being able to nuke your opponent's hand for 3-4 cards and often will just end a control/combo match up on the spot.

As for aggro match ups, this is where the rest of the deck comes in, with Defile doubling up as the best board clear, Doomsayer and Hellfire for early clears and Siphon Soul, Twisting Nether and Despicable Dreadlord for later in the game to help stabilize before Bloodreaver Gul'dan.

Substitutions

For substituting out, you can take out Rin, the First Disciple (which honestly I might cut anyway since the combo normally crushes the same deck that Rin does) for a Shroom Brewer or a Kobold Librarian, which while both are unable to do what Rin does at all, they are both really strong and help polish up other match ups.

The same applies for Gnomeferatu.

Carnivorous Cube easily is able to shut out games if your opponent lets you stick a demon but if you don't have them, replacing them for Mountain Giants or Twilight Drakes can be an okay swap since they are also pretty good at controlling the board.

Bloodreaver Gul'dan, along with Treachery, Voidlord, Twisting Nether and Doomsayer are the only expensive cards that are vital for the deck to have comfortable match ups against most other decks. I guess you can replace Twisting Nether and Doomsayer for early game board-centric minions, but it would sacrifice a lot of control elements and if you don't have Bloodreaver Gul'dan or Treachery, this deck is just not for you, sorry.

As for upgrades, the only card I think you'd want to put in is Lord Godfrey, which you can replace either Rin, the First Disciple or a Twisting Nether for, I just don't have him in the deck since I said he was meh during review season and I'm a stubborn snot and don't want to craft him.

Wrap Up

I've actually had some pretty good success with this deck (granted it's at ranks 9-6 so it doesn't really count for anything) but it is just really fun to play and is great at demoralizing your opponent by taking their win conditions the turn before they would win. Similar to my other decks, if you have the cards to make it, go for it, I don't think you would regret it, but if you don't have one of the expensive cards, I'd stray away for a bit to either get the cards or to just not play one of my abominations. If you have any questions about the deck, just ask me in the comments and make it sound as negative and depreciating so I feel inclined to write a response quickly. I hope you have fun with this list!
