Carnivorous Cube is a good card. It can copy so, so many Doomguards and Voidlords, among other things.

Cruel Dinomancer is the greatest dinomancer. It's what I used back in Un'Goro/KFC before cubes were a thing. Usually I got 2 more of The Lich King, Various big stuff, and sometimes the coveted Infinite Dinomancer. The key is knowing when to discard cards and when not to, making them a real consideration instead of either an "avoid at all costs" or "every chance you get" mechanic.

Together, while you have the chance of discarding a cube, you also have an equal chance of cubing a full Dinomancer for 3x whatever's inside. If any class can do it, it's Warlock. And with the extra healing and taunt Lakkari Felhound, Blood-Queen Lana'thel, and even early Doomguard can provide, you can survive long enough to clear out aggro, or outvalue enemy 'locks and mages. Only Combo decks are scary, and you can still style on them for 5 damage every turn if you can get a safe Doomguard or Cruel Dinomancer up.
