+10 votes for mulligan and general tips
Decent win rate from rank 5 to Legend (July 2018)
Thanks a lot for the votes!
Replacements: -1 Void Ripper +1 Spellbreaker if you don't have Void Ripper
I think that Prince Keleseth is a core card, if you don't own him and you need to replace it, you will need more 2drops in the deck, i will work on that and give a new budget list without Prince Keleseth soon
Someone said why we don't play Doomguard. I though it was a good option since most of the times you don't have enough cards to discard and could give you a good lethal, but we already play five 5drops, i will try out a version with doomguards by removing
-1 Tar Creeper -1Leeroy Jenkins +2Doomguard and i will tell you if it works better for me.
Mulligan tips: Always keep Prince Keleseth. Try to throw every card that costs more than one. If you have a card that can heal you, also keep Happy Ghoul. Only vs paladin keep Despicable Dreadlord.
A general tip: If you face control decks like sw shaman, warrior or mage, try to deal big amount of damage before they can clear your board, play smart and you will win them. If you face a tempo/aggro deck like Baku Rogue, Paladin or miracle, winning the board is the key to win the game. Vs hunter the game is easy if they won't find all the cards they need to kill you, and also vs druid a big board on early game is great threat for them. The only win condition they have vs that deck is Spreading Plague or Wild Growth into Coin into Nourish

Have fun playing the deck, i'm really happy that you actually like it
I will try to make more decks like that.
Good Luck on Ladder
You can play doomguard without cards to discard.
why don't you run guldan? or glinda crowskin? they both fit into this deck's theme.
both too slow, if the opponent isn't dead you're already losing
how to counter it? since everyone just roll up to zoo now.
I run a weird hand/control lock hybrid that runs meat/portals + Glinda and giants, faceless, void daddies etc that is pretty good at shutting things down when it gets rolling.
A fast deck like this can mostly always beat you if they draw the nuts though and you are struggling with RNG.
Zoo has always been one of those decks that gets it's wins from the opponent not being able to answer it in time.
Of course if the control deck draws what it needs, the zoo stands zero chance.
everyone is playing this right now
typical action, but don't worry, as soon as people will play counter-deck this one will die.
original creator is takas an asian player that hit r1 legend last season, source http://sharehs.com/warlock/5184/
lol...
130-ish cards per xpac for millions of players. I've encountered so many decks in the game that pop up on a streamers whatever mad months later. Officially, the credit goes to whomever created Zoolock in the first place. I don't mean the streamer that made it famous (infamous?) but the actual person that first made the deck. Furthermore, Takas, (whomever that person is...) put together a variation of Zoolock. Espresso put together a different variation of Zoolock. I'm sorry but nobody can take credit for creating anything because there are way more players than there are cards. Also, I like how folks complain about netdeckers....on a website that allows players to showcasw their decks.
i'm not complaining smh, i dont see what's the problem to write 'credit to Takas' in the deck description, that's all , but whatever i know who created this deck if that matter lol
Thank you for the deck man !!
doomguard doesn't need to discard to work.. if your hand is empty you can play it.
also why not guldan?
also why not glida crowskin? you are already running the happy ghoul combo.
Hey, i always been wondering, how did you get this cardback? (the description in it its not very clear)
same here :)
Ok, so I just played a Shudderwock Shaman who Healing Rained back up to 30...not accounting for my Lightwarden, which ticked up to THIRTY TWO attack damage. He had to concede.
Rank, win rate, getting legend...none of it matters now.
I have achieved my meme dream.
Been tinkering with this deck waaaaay too much today, settled on this version for now, any improvements would be appriciated
If you have Guldan, you should add doomguards, maybe over dread infernals/dreadlords
Okay, two things. One, posting your decklist on someone else's deck posting is a tad rude. Two, this deck isn't intended to be hanging around on 10, much less a great deal past it. For you to get value off of Bloodreaver Gul'dan. you're basically either counting on things to go wrong or you're relying on a slower game plan than Zoo usually wants. I would politely suggest that if that's your style, developing a demon-focused Zoolock deck would be better. They can and have existed, but they generally don't have quite the same strength.
Sorry man, I just like to build decks and share/see what people come up with to improve upon said ideas. Didn't mean it as a "LOOK AT THIS DECK OMFG" thing. I just was messing around with different builds and wanted to see if anyone had ideas. I'll politely fuck off now. IDK how to delete posts but if you can go for it.
You can't. I'm just pointing it out for the future, brother. I'm not OP, and I don't think there was any harm done. Just an etiquette thing.
Like I said, I'd chop the top end stuff. Those infernals and Gul'Dan are only going to come into play if things go sideways. And on turn 6, in this meta, that 1 damage to everything isn't going to be that useful. Also, Zoo hates doing whole board AOEs (as opposed to controlled damage on your opponent's side of the board only) because they absolutely rely on smart trades and board presence to win.
If I can make a suggestion that's really helped me in the past few months with deckbuilding, it's a piece of advice I got from watching my Hearthstone sempai, Brian Kibler. "So I get asked why I don't run X card instead of Y. What you have to consider is this; One, what am I taking out to make room for X? Two, is it going to be better in more situations than Y card is now? I could run (X tech card, can't remember what it was), but how does that affect the rest of my match-ups? Is this one, weird corner kind of situation important enough to warrant making the change, or does it just dilute my deck?"
In that spirit, your weird corner situation for Infernal flat out is that your board is either strong enough to take the 1 damage across it, or it's wiped out, AND you can use that Infernal in some useful way. In a traditional game playing Zoo, if that's your state, you're probably fucked already. That takes us to Gul'Dan, where that set of circumstances is that you've now not only lived until 10 at minimum, but that you have demons to recur AND you no longer need Life Tap to cycle for cards to get threat. Don't get me wrong, 3 damage with Lifesteal can be huge, and it can be a finisher. But that 3.3% of the time when you draw Gul'dan (1/30), finite says that he's going to be a dead card for a long time. And every card counts in Zoo. So my advice is that this is the wrong way to go if you want *this* type of archetype being a speedier Zoo deck basing itself on healing synergies with Happy Ghoul and Lightwarden.
