So much fun to play with :)
Took me from rank 12 to 5 in few days of the last season and now ladder again with it till rank 5 then I will play other decks like taunt druid or quest malygos. Atm 38:14 with 73% win rate with this sweet devilsaurs :)
You ramp fast and then play charged devilsaur to kill it with trade or naturalize (against hex/poly).Bring your enemy on around 21 hp so you kill him in 1 turn with witching hour, attack, cube it + spellstone/naturalize and attack again with 14 dmg.
Have fun to play with :)
Any Questions? Feel free to ask in the comments below :)
Still have this deck in my collection. Was wondering if you have thought of any tweaks with the new expansion?
Perhaps Biology Project or Gloop Sprayer could be added somewhere?
I'm excited to try this deck,
Only problem is I cant afford all the cards.
I have all the cards except for the UI's, Faceless or the Arcane Tyrants.
I figured the UI and Tyrants are their own branch of the deck, so I could replace those and then DE some of my goldens to buy the Faceless's.
I do have a ledgendary card Ixlid, Fungal Lord, which I thought could go well with this deck. Do you agree?
What else would you recommend to use instead of those 3-4 epic cards?
Thanks :)
Interesting facts for anyone 'noob' who reads this.
I am a fairly noob player F2P and i've never bought any packs or spent any 'real money'.
I'm currently sitting around level 20 and the highest i've been is 18.
I was able to create most of this deck using dust and DE'ing useless ledgendaries and goldens I had.
I replaced the following cards.
2x Ultimate Infestation, 2x Arcane Tyrant, 1x Faceless Manipulator Because I simply couldnt afford them.
I had the trouble at first when I substituted a few of the cards I was missing (See above). I figured I need any replacement minions to cost more than 4 (Due to the Oaken Summons) I figured me using Druid of the Fang would be a good substitute. However I quickly realised that the minion created is a beast, which then screwed up my Witching Hour.
I then tried to look for spells to replace instead, and used the Power of the Wild, I quickly realised the 3/2 Panther also messes up the Witching Hour.
I then realised I need a non-beast 5+ card to use. And I decided on 2x Cobalt Scalebane, for those numerical reasons. Plus I figured it's a great distraction as your enemy is generally quite threatened by this card and will often waste some good cards to try and kill them. These coupled with my ledgendary Ixlid, Fungal Lord have provided an excellent distraction until I can get to the devilsaur combo.
I then used 2x Barkskin to fill my other 2 slots. I'm not sure If I will change these yet as they are proving pretty useless.
I have currently won 7/9 games with this deck since I fixed those early issues. The 2 I lost were only because I was very unlucky and didnt draw a devilsaur at all!
(Noob here)
What do you mean by "kill it with trade"?
Also, you mention hex/poly what are you saying there? Against it how?
Thank you in advance!
Hi Noob,
In HS, a trade is when you destroy your opponent minion with yours. So if your opponent have a minion on his board/side, you should use your Devilsaur to destroy his minions. And if possible trying to kill your devilsaur too in order to revive it later/cheaper.
Hex from Shaman and Polymorph from Mage are spells that not only silence your minion but also change its form, preventing you to destroy your Charged Devilsaur through a Carnivorous Cube in order to make your combo. You can't revive through Witching Hour something which has not been destroyed. Clear enough?
Here, the main goal of this deck is to gain mana through Wild Growth and Nourish in order to play your Devilsaur quickly. Then destroy it through trades or through Naturalize if you're facing a Mage/Shaman. Then reviving for only 3 mana this devilsaur thanks to Witching Hour. Then use Carnivorous Cube to get 2 Devilsaurs. You should also keep Arcane Tyrant in hand (if you can) in order to play it for 0 mana after a Ultimate Infestation.
Hope it helps.
Crystal Clear. Thank you.
Still don't know why you people don't play twig in devilsaurus decks ... Should put umbra to but be carefull with oaekn!
