I know what you are gonna say, and it'd probably be along these lines: Kiwii, why are you running the Lesser Diamond Spellstonein a tempo deck? you are just going to revive small minions! Hear me out: Think of this card as a makeshift Call to Arms. We can actually use the spellstone to our advantage as it has no mana restriction so yest it might get you tiny dudes, but most of the time, it'll give you better cards that what you would get from a call to arms.
Check the video guide for gameplay and tips!
Just like the other installations of this series, this deck is a taco shell waiting to be filled with beef. If you are experienced with tacos make sure to beef it up and add in a bit of spice according to where you are in this taco eating contest.
Here are a few cards that professional taco makers would use to raise the tastiness level. if you have those cards, please consider adding them, it'll increase the overall winrate.
Shadow Visions
Cabal Shadow Priest
Obsidian Statue
The Lich King
Mulligans
Without the coin: You need to hard mulligan for Northshire Cleric or Fire Fly, other cards that are interesting are Radiant Elemental, Power Word: Shield and Shadow Ascendant.
With the coin: The same basic rules apply here, but having a double Shadow Ascendant start doesn't hurt. Keeping a Stonehill Defender or a Vicious Fledgling doesn't hurt either.
I lose more than I actually win...but I like this deck, it's so fun!
What cards can go out for including Shadow Visions, Cabal Shadow Priest, Obsidian Statue and/or The Lich King?
Can we all agree that if it got you from hard-stuck rank 25 up to rank 20 then it's not just "average" but good enough for even a newbie to get wins with?
Is there a reason to not use eternal servitude instead?
I will be looking at making a rogue deck in the upcoming weeks, I am currently focused on creating a shaman deck.
The deck seems pretty solid. I got from rank 24 to 20 easily (80% winrate). I must admit i replaced a few cards (Tortollan Shellraiser > Ysera; Stonehill Defender > Cabal Shadow Priest). Probably with more upgrades the winrate would be even better.
I don't get why people say they get no wins with this deck, i'm at low rank and i'm grinding to higher with this funny deck ! Have a 10-2 record with it so far. For a a casual player with no wide collection like me, it's an amazing deck.
Hmmm, or I am having really bad luck or this deck is not working at all. I tried the original (0/3), some modifications suggested here (0/3). And I play in very low levels.
I've been crushed by Paladins, Rogues, Hunters and Warlocks. :(
i think injuried blade master can be cool and lyra can be optimal in this deck
0 winrate no joke lol
couldn't agree more!! for this deck I lost to Paladin like 100% lmfao
Year / Beef per lb. avg annual price US
Beef prices in the US have skyrocketed since Hearthstone's release though.

Really interesting deck here! I had a play around with some of the upgrades you mentioned (probe/hoarder/bonemares for visions/cabal/LK) and played some games, here's what happened;
(Games start at 4:03)
Seems like the list is in a bit of an awkward spot. Cards like Firefly and Stonehill really water down the resurrect pool, but we need them to not get run over in the early turns. Might try tinkering around with a more midrangey build, get some Duskbreakers and the like in there.
Thank you so much for the list, definitely a thinker!
Fire fly is really fucking up my otherwise pretty decent revive pool. Any suggestions for alternative? I was thinking maybe lightwardens instead?
yeah that works very well too!
Call to Arms: Can be played on turn 4 to give you immiediete board prescence, needs nothing to played beforehand to make it work
Spellstone: Turn 7 at best, need to play majority of spells in your deck with this in hand to gain value, greater is pretty much impossible. Pay off isn't even that much better, because 3 3-Drops on 7 is a lot worse than 3 2 drops on 4.
Love playing 5-mana Call to Arms on turn 4. Especially as priest. Best play in the whole game.
"In my opinion since there is a higher% of minions with 3+ cost, then if we consider it a better CTA then yeah "
Its not a better CTA in any sense. At least pre-nerf.
There are 8 spells in the deck, not counting the spellstones. It takes 4 spells cast to level 1, then 4 to get Greater spellstone. So with this list, you essentially need to cast every spell in the deck plus a spellstone to even make a Greater spellstone happen.
Back to the drawing board for you, I think.
but see the thing is that you don't always need to have it be a greater spellstone.
