Good day hearthpwn users. This is my mid-range dragon pali deck that I have been tinkering with for a few days now, it's also my first posting here. I made it primarily as a gimmick, and partially because of the indignity of there being no standard dragon paladin action. Despite it mostly being a joke it is surprisingly competitive, I think my current wr with it is about 60-65%. If crushes alot or slower decks and is capable of very fast wins. I would have loved to make a run for legend with this deck before I posted it (I'm very confident it's capable), however I simply do not have the time this season. I hope that with the next two rotations they will bring in a pali dragon or two to satisfy my strange compulsions. I'll make a full guide when it hits 25 ups. Below is a link for the wild version. Thanks for looking and feedback is appreciated
Fun Deck! looking forward to a guide
I'll have one up this weekend. Thank you for checking it out!
Marsh Drake to me is too unreliable to kill off the 2/1, so I'd recommend throwing in two copies of Nightmare Amalgam instead, better buff targets with blessing of kings, which as a minion focused deck this should also include I'd say of consecration. Overall, a fun deck design, you'll see me tearing up the rank 5 no star meta with this one
I just played a couple games with it this way, and this is much better. Thank you. I'm pretty low rank this season, but I've gone 4-1 so far today. I've been mostly playing even shaman and shudderwock.
Have you tried Alex instead of Ysera? I've played with the control dragon paladin idea and found Alex into Uther two turn combo extremely strong. You don't run Uther, but your deck seems to be more board-centric, so Alex can be even more powerful. At least it looks like it ^_^
Good luck with your experiment!
I would actually prefer to run Alex but I don't own it. Otherwise I definitely would be. I also used to run Uther, maybe I should do that instead of Lay on hands. Thank you for the feedback, I will definitely try it with Uther again. Eventually I'll get Alex.
Thank you, I thought you'd never ask. Firstly it holds a dragon slot for the gargoyle. Secondly, it clears stonehill defender and tar creeper and survives. Lastly, it's health being four puts it out of defile range if I have righteous protector and the gargoyle on board. Also as a bonus, it is beefy, cheap and I almost always have a way to kill the drake slayer it summons. If I don't, then I'll save it and play it with consecration.
Someone ask me why I run Marsh Drake.
Why do you run Marsh Drake?
