Hey guys/gals, back with another Priest deck. 99.99% of you don’t know me but I am an avid Priest player (1600 wins) and a Golden Priest, Golden Hunter, Golden Mage and Golden Paladin.
Yes-I get it-there are several control priests floating around-this is. Y version and it is VERY effective on the ladder. Made a run earlier defeating Cubelocks, Shudder and Quest Shaman, Elemental Mage, Spiteful Druid, control warrior and both odd and “silver hand buff” Paladins. I did lose to a Big Priest on fatigue during that eclectic run.
Priest seems to be very resilient and consistent in the current Meta-very well rounded. I will be posting my take on a Wild Reno Priest later as well as a Wild. Erosion of my Control Priest.
Have fun, good luck and with enough upvotes, I will go into more specifics.
Replacement for Archbishop Benedictus?
That’s a tough one. That card is a lot of fun for this deck and has won the game for me over and over. If you want to play this deck, I highly recommend getting it. Once you force feed the board back to your opponent once or twice with Psychic Scream and then steal their deck, it’s powerful.
So now we put a single card from rotation in to a copied Standard deck and call it Wild? I guess since so many people took Cubelock and Controllock and added in Lord Godfrey and called it the new meta breaking WW Warlock deck then I guess this can be called wild. But as someone else already posted why not just remove the Greater Healing Potion and play it in standard?
Go for it. No arguments here-I just happened to be playing the Wild side this season. Cheers
Why is this a wild deck if you're only going to run a single wild card out of 30? You're going to get smacked around by all of these ridiculous aggro decks instead of just swapping out one card and playing in Standard?
Again, honestly only reason is that I am playing the Wild side this season. I do have a standard version as well and works great.
Is this deck good on the ladder? I found control priest difficult to win against big priests, druids and mild rogues :(
I have found it to be quite competitive on the ladder. Priest in general (in my opinion) is strong currently. I am also running (and just posted) my take on a Wild Brann-Dragon Priest that is doing very well for me. Feel free to check it out and see my take on an oldie but goodie. I created it just earlier and so far on a 9-1 run.
And yes, you are correct-Big Priest gives me fits with this deck-however, I honestly just haven’t seen many being played. Good luck and thx for comment. Cheers
such a costly deck. Too bad I dont have the required cards :(
