Find Leper Gnome with Witchwood Piper. Bring it back with Twilight's Call.
Keep up the early game pressure and end with burn spells.
"Gimme a big hug!!"
I just crafted this deck and i added some of the cards that Brihnotv suggested. I also use shadowreaper anduin. What i want to ask is if this deck is good at all. I cant seem to pass tier 19. Can anyone give me some tips or help?
thank you
I noticed that it's hard to snowball the early game with the past version. So I added Brhinotv's suggested "Unidentified Elixir" to help make better trades and develop bigger threats. You will notice I made a bunch of other changes too.
I believe you should focus primarily on board control with this strategy. Then go for damage with Alex + mindblasts in the lategame.
There is a chance to put 2x Shadow Visions? What can I replace for them?
Probably (1X) Holy Nova and (1X) Holy Fire are good cuts to make room.
Hey there! Just wanted to say I love the concept of the deck and I think it's really fun.
However there are ways to make this deck much better while keeping the same concept alive, while also maintaining a budget status(if that is waht the aim is).
This deck is more combo the aggro, the combo being placing enough damage together to kill your opponent. Combo decks NEED card draw to stay consistant and I think the right card draw package in this deck makes it work wonders. I also feel like this deck craves some sort of spell damage to make your aoe more effective against more common board states.
These are the changes I made and I've found much more success while retaining the fun I had with the first couple of games. Take them however you'd like.
-2 Holy Smite +2 Northshire Cleric
Even with Witchwood Piper potentially grabbing this it is still worth it. It's card draw and increase your 1 drops for more consistant Shadow Ascendant openings.
-2 Mirage Caller +2 Unidentified Elixir
Mirage Caller' stats don't do anything helpfull for our Aggro/Combo style of deck. Unidentified Elixir is more versitile and can roll the same effect while lending itself to powerfull curve plays on turn two Radiant Elemental or Shadow Ascendant.
-2 Vicious Fledgling +2 Acolyte of Pain
Like I said this deck needs card draw and Acolyte of Pain has all kinds of crazy Synergies with this deck including Spirit Lash, Power Word: Shield and Unidentified Elixir to name a few.
-1 Twilight's Call +1 Tainted Zealot
If you have Bloodmage Thalnos I would suggest dropping a Witchwood Piper instead and adding him. But assuming this is meant to be on a budget this is the next best choice. Spell Damage helps get to important damage thresholds and Zealot having divine shield means it survives Spirit Lash and sticks on the board for Unidentified Elixir With only Leper Gnome's Deathrattle Twilight's Call is to clunky at 2, even with the Mirage Callers. You can probably justify two again with Bloodmage Thalnos or maybe a Loot Hoarder or two, But I think the deck performes well with it at one.
Great deck wither way, very fun to kill people with Leper Gnome again :)
After playing with Kibler's Quest Priest deck I've been noticing how much spell damage adds to things like Spirit Lash, Mind Blast and Holy Fire. I've been wondering if it would be worth it to build some type of combo spell damage deck.
Like the idea of the deck, though i feel like it needs some more card draw. Fun budget deck, +1 from me :)
