The "Amazing" budget Control-demon-lock?
I decided to make this deck after noticing the lack of budget control decks at the moment, and how many new players are being forced to play aggro decks (which i know i would have hated) and so i developed this deck to with only a few commons and mostly basic cards to try and help new players out.
Feel free to post below and ask about any cards that you have unpacked and are wondering if you could fit them in :D
Card Replacements... for those people that find commons to hard ;)
Basically any large drop would work as a substitute, preferably with taunt, so if you dont have any, your best bet would be Lord of the Arena
If you dont have this card, the closest thing will be Reckless Rocketeer it wont be nearly as good, but it will work.
as you will see in the videos below, this card is essential, and majority of decks run this card, if you don't have it, just craft it. Although if you have Ironbeak Owl you can run that instead.
this card is a great card to use in combo with Sacrificial Pact so if u take this card out, i would recommend playing 1 Drain Soul and take out 1 sacrificial pact and put in a Darkscale Healer
Demonfire & Felsoul Inquisitor
These cards are the backbone of the deck, there aren't\any substitutes for these cards that are basic or common.
the only card similar to it is Blood Imp which is a good sub. But if you dont have either of these cards, but still have Fiendish Circle then you should be reasonably fine to swap this minion for something like Voodoo Doctor or Kobold Geomancer or a second Corruption to help with early game removal.
well gosh, ermmm, you ask alot of me, it hurts to take this card out. your best bet is just chuckin in a Sen'jin Shieldmasta
Gameplay Footage/Guide
Card Upgrades
I will not be putting legendaries in this list. Also the cards you swap don't have to be these exact cards, if you want to feel free to swap out other cards, this is just a rough guide, of my opinion of what is best to substitute
at the moment the deck itself isn't the strongest or most controlly deck, but through upgrading your cards over time, it will become a powerful control deck
Replace Furious Ettin and Boulderfist Ogre with Voidlord
Voidlord is a very powerful late game minion, it can single handedly win games. But is a epic which will cost you 400 dust, which is quite expensive, but dream big :P
Replace one, ONLY ONE Acidic Swamp Ooze and Witchwood Imp with, Siphon Soul
Siphon Soul is a very powerful warlock removal and can help in matchups against decks with powerful minions, such as spiteful decks and other control decks.
replace 1 Mortal Coil or 1 Corruption with Twisting Nether
Twisting Nether is very powerful, it can turn games around, save you in very dire times. Destroys everything, no frills attached, GONE! You only need 1 but if u wanna be greedy you can run two.
Replace any of the above cards that are getting replaced, with Defile
if you already have replaced all of the above, time to sub out 1 Sacrificial Pact and Fiendish Circle . Defile completely destroys aggresive decks and can cause instant concedes :P
Replace any of the above cards that are getting replaced, with Despicable Dreadlord
This card is just so amazing. Card is practically instant win against baku paladin. If you have replaced all of the above cards, replace Darkscale Healer and Swift Messenger
This card is great, deals a bunch of damage, heals you a bunch, swap it out for any of the above or the second Voidlord and the second Mortal Coil
HONOURABLE MENTIONS
If you unpack any of the cards below, they are worth putting in, but i wouldn't go out of my way to get them, most of these cards will assist with the late game.
Mountain Giant great synergy with our full hand
Gilnean Royal Guard just good late game removal
Charged Devilsaur just good late game removal
Rotten Applebaum (i don't know why this wasn't in the original list) very good card, i would go out of my way for this one
Stonehill Defender good early game taunt, good vale, can get Voidlord from it
Tar Lurker Just slows down the game a bit for you
P:S please do eventually sub out the Demonfire and Felsoul Inquisitor as once the deck gets some more of these big cards these cards aren't nearly as good
Here is a link to the control warlock i play, this shows a fully finished warlock (you can sub out Bloodreaver Gul'dan for Lord Jaraxxus ) https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1117125-control-rin-lock
Enjoy :D
yes, bloodreaver guldan has great synergy with the demons, and his heropower is so powerful on its own.
basically any of the warlock legendaries are worth putting in
Do NOT trust this deck or author. This deck is terrible. Period. I know it's a budget deck but there are legitimately good budget decks. This is not one of them, not one by far.
oh im sorry you only like to play high win rate aggro decks that just require you to be a potato which causes you to not be able to play any other deck.
this deck isnt very powerful, its the closest thing you are going to get to a budget control deck, and people can slowly upgrade it to become a control deck
You want to see what decks I play? Ok. Then tell me I love my high winrate aggro decks. THIS IS NOT A GOOD INTRODUCTION TO A CONTROL DECK. If you want to win by controlling the board play Zoo, if you want to play control suck it up and craft the card and if you want to win with a budget deck play Hunter or Tempo Mage. This deck DOESN'T WORK in this meta. It is far too slow and lacks vision.

Tomorrow will be your end
doomguards discard is really bad for the deck, but if u had skull of manari it would be worth putting in
Hi, i have rin and jaraxxus, can be used in this deck?
yes they are both amazing control warlock cards :D probably swap out corruption and a ooze, or 1 of the voidwalkers
Hello, with the changes, do you think i can get rank 15 from 25?
most likely yes, it may be difficult as you dont have any of the legendaries, but it is definetely doable if you play it right
No. The best you'll get is rank 24. Please find a better deck.
Proof? Do you use HS Deck Tracker? I'd love to see it because I doubt you're better than a rank 23 newbie.
from 25-20 you put random cards in your deck and still wreck everyone.
I use metabomb and hearthpwn decks all the time but on my brothers account who only plays vs me i got him to rank 20 so he can get the reward and i did it with putting all the good cards that he had and picked some replacements for like 6 mana card i need something so i pick the card that looks most valuable and i wrecked everyone. Now when im getting him to rank 20 i only pick troll cards that punish you for bad removal usage (gurubashi berserker, vicius flappy bird) And if you win 1 out of 10 games u still hit rank20 cuz u cant derank.
You must be so bad at the game if you cant hit rank20 with any decks.
I'm finding that this deck is having trouble responding to a lot of the Spiteful decks that are popular right now, due to their ability to pull big minions and this decks inability to deal with them. The rush cards and the spells like shadow bolt are great at keeping control of the board, but I lack enough board damage to keep with the minions provided. Maybe consider adding in stronger early game minions? Or midgame?
the objective of this deck is to win in the mid to late game, this deck is a budget deck, i am adding a list of cards that are rares and so on that will allow the deck to compete with spiteful decks. Siphon Soul is very powerful against spiteful decks and Defile is also good at controlling the board against the very aggresive decks
This deck has no win condition and therefore loses to spiteful, along with many other decks.
spiteful is a deck you dont need a win condition to win against, u kill both their spawns and you win. Siphon soul helps against them alot
Pretty newish player been playing mostly rogue, wanted to try warlock but as you said they are pretty expensive. Been having fun with this already had all the cards except furious ettin. I liked your vid explaining it, all i ever did as warlock is get it to 10 vs ai so it helped quite a bit. What would you suggest id start adding to it to improve it, just like the next 3-4 cards i should be looking to craft. Thanks again, lol had to make an account here for this message lol.
glad your enjoying the deck :D
the next cards you should be looking to add in would be rares such as siphon soul (which is part of the classic set) and if you get it twisting nether (which is a classic epic) is really good. Probably later i will make a upgrade list of cards to add in and swap out.
also dont forget you can use sacrificial pact on your opponents demons if your playing against warlocks ;)
