Just a fun deck idea that I had watching Thijs stream, I saw a similar deck at Rank 2 Legend. So far it's doing pretty well in legend. Can write some more details if people like it.
Deck goes infinite with Glinda Crowskin into Baleful Banker on Glinda Crowskin and the second Baleful Banker on to the first Baleful Banker (Requires 10 mana). Plenty of control tools to get to fatigue + huge healing from Voodoo Doctor or major card burning with Gnomeferatu once you get Glinda Crowskin to stick
I'm currently trying out a version w/o Rin, because although I like the card I never found a use for her, it was more of a well I could get rid of their whole deck or I could just fatigue it with Glinda + Gnomeferatu combo. I am instead running Meatwagon + Summoning Portal and only 1 doomsayer that seems to be working well because most people will not kill meat wagon when they see it and if it pulls summoning portal you can play Glinda and gnomeferatu all in 1 turn to get the combo off. Just an idea. I've also cut lackey but put in despicable dreadlords and cut spell stones to put clockwork automatons (I think that's the 5 mana 4/4 that makes ur hero power's damage and healing doubled) now keep in mind that means deal 6 damage heal for 12 with Guldan's upgraded hero power :)
Hadnt thought of using Clockwork before. I was more thinking the damage from standard hero power. Interesting synergy with Guldan! Trying it now :-)
Currently playing around with some other stuff with the deck.
I rly love this deck/// rank 10->6 and now i have a lil problem
how can this win vs 4xMind Blast+DK priest?
most times i have no time to realize Rin, the First Disciple
any tips? this priest is the only archetype i'm struggling with (besides tempo mage, that i faced only 2 times with 50% wr)
i put Kobold Monk for test
once it helped me to win vs tempomage
but i didn't faced any priest:(
Could you potentially add The Darkness as a free 20/20 once their deck is gone?
While you could, in that instance it would just be a "win more" card. If you already make it to forcing fatigue the game is pretty much wrapped up. The Darkness is a cool gimmick but ultimately is very slow and uses up a slot that a better card with more impact could take.
how about cutting 1 Doomsayer for 1 Zola the Gorgon ?
Interesting. I'm going to try that!
Update: I ended up switching back to 2 x Dooms. Better for board control and tempo. I found trying to combo Zola properly with something useful slowed things down
This deck is ABSOLUTELY GENIUS! Warlock with an inifinite value strategy? Absurdly strong idea and a sleeper.
I'm playing mountain giants and thalnos in my current version of your idea, just for testing out for potential spell damage stacking with glinda, then either spellstone or hellfire.
Very cool and fun idea! Gave me a sweet taste after a bland format so far. Hope to see more combos and discussion :)
No Elise Trailblazer in a fatigue match? K
Play any control/Cube Warlock and then come back and see how stupid that is. You wont ever have 5 free spots in ur hand ever, and the whole point of this deck is u literally never fatigue, u play glinda banker banker. So the packs are useless.
so the point is to just keep using balebanker on the gnomeferatu and voodoo doctor?
Keep using the bankers on Glinda and then on the First banker you used on Glinda. The following turn if Glinda sticks you can mill with Gnomeferatu or heal with Voodoo Doctor depending on what you need.
I tried it in an unranked game against a druid. I had a lot of fun healing in the end! I did some mistakes but hey... I'm an amator ;)
Watch and enjoy. The fun starts around 7:50.
why did the video skip like several turns, not really showcasing the deck that well.
I tried to skip the "dull" parts and get to the meat...because this deck is about Glinda Crowskin and not about my skill ;)
If you rather see the whole game I could change it :D
If you guys didn't like the video, please give me some advice how to "get gud"!! I'd rather not post these if they are not liked :)
This deck looks super fun! Control Lock has been a favorite of mine recently and I happen to have Glinda Crowskin. Speaking of her, I've been running her in a zoo deck and am having a real hard time getting her to stick. I think I am misusing her. Can anyone give me any tips? Should she only be played at turn 10? Thanks!
This deck is awesome! Woud love some more details :)
Why Rin though. the whole point of the deck is that you win in fatigue anyway, so why even run Rin?
