If you're like me, you enjoy cosplaying as Arch-thief Rafaam and stealing your opponent's deck with King Togwaggle and Azalina. If you're also like me, you hate playing against bullshit Big Priest and Naga Sea Witch decks in Wild.
"But I have to face them if I wanna do this combo!! It requires Kun and Aviana??"
Not anymore.
INTRODUCING:
KING TOGWAGGLE WARLOCK
The Game Plan:
Step 1: Play broken Warlock cards to stall out the game.
Step 2: Draw your entire deck.
Step 3: Play Summoning Portal, Prince Taldaram, and Faceless Manipulator to discount your minions by 6 mana.
Step 4: Play King Togwaggle to swap decks with your opponent and Azalina Soulthief to copy the King's Ransom spell in their hand.
Step 5: Profit!!!
The Druid version of this combo requires 4 cards and no set-up. This requires 5 cards and no set-up. They are very similar, but the advantage of this version is that it gets to play broken Warlock cards and also is 100% Standard Viable.
Card Choice Explanation: PRINCE 3 WITH 3-DROPS!?
Been getting some feedback on the cards used for the combo. This combo is technically doable several ways, the simplest way being Portal x2 and Faceless x1. As I played, I personally found Prince Taldaram to be better than the second Summoning Portal for several reasons:
First: It makes the combo 9 mana instead of 10, meaning you can play a minion from the opponent's hand as long as it costs 7 or less.
Second: It has more stats. Having two 3/3's instead of two 0/4's is a huge tempo difference and improves your ability to fight for the board after you do the combo.
Generally speaking your goal is to draw your entire deck and then switch with your opponent, so having 3-drops in the deck usually makes no difference.
EDIT:
LEGEND BOYZ
Been playing essentially the same deck however running faceless manip and hemet instead of the prince. Feels nicer than having to draw all your 3's.
Good shit
I've been a huge fan of Prince 3 in this deck, and I added an explanation in the description for why that is. In short, having a 3/3 body lets you compete for the board better post-combo, and being 1 mana cheaper than Portal means you can combo for 9 mana instead of 10 and play an extra card from the opponent's hand. This made a huge difference against decks like Spiteful Druid, who would just flood the board knowing I didn't have removal.
edit: nvm
The general idea of the combo is to draw your entire deck, then swap decks with the opponent so they have no more cards. If you have no deck, then Prince Taldaram is active. Sometimes it can screw you over if you're in a very specific match-up where you want to combo early -and- you've drawn all your combo pieces -and- you haven't drawn all your 3-drops yet, but barring that precise scenario, Prince Taldaram is better than Faceless because he has more stats and lets you play an additional card the turn you perform the combo, which has saved me on several occasions.
by the way, thanks for idea that's it's playable in standart. It took me more than 100 matches in wild to discover your recipe :P
add hemet
I actually tried Hemet for a bit and it wasn't bad. I was able to replace Acolyte for Tar Creeper, which made the aggro match-up better. Hemet made me a little uncomfortable though because a lot of the cards he blows up are actually pretty important for staying alive, especially Dark Pact. On average he was removing 7 cards from the deck when played, but among those cards were things like Mortal Coil, Acolyte of Pain, and Kobold Librarian which all would have thinned the deck anyway.
It's really funny though, and I definitely will try it again when I get to Legend, but right now I'm playing with a version that plays Prince Taldaram instead of Faceless Manipulator. At 3/3 it has more stats than a regular Summoning Portal and it makes the combo only 9 mana, meaning you have one more to spare and can play another minion after swapping hands with the opponent, as long as it costs 7 mana or less. Unfortunately, it's not compatible with Hemet.
