With Ice Block out of standard, it's harder for mages to "control".

But I've tried to put together a combo OTK mage. 1/3 of the deck are tools to gain life and stall; 1/3 of the deck is card draw; and the final 1/3 is the combo pieces.

Card Choices:

Sandbinder is interesting as it draws a key combo piece (Leyline Manipulator) or life gain (Arcane Artificer). Witchwood Piper potentially draws Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Aim of the deck is to stall until you find the combo pieces required to OTK your opponent.

Eg. of the combo

First make copies of Sorcerer's Apprentice with Simulacrum and/or Zola the Gorgon.

Then, use Leyline Manipulator to discount the copies to 0 cost.

At 10 mana...

2x 0 cost Sorcerer's Apprentice + Archmage Antonidas + 2x Molten Reflection or

2x 0 cost Sorcerer's Apprentice + 1x regular cost Sorcerer's Apprentice + Archmage Antonidas + 1x Molten Reflection

*Don't be afraid to play a Sorcerer's Apprentice to reduce your mana cost, to try to draw your final combo pieces!
