Since Tempo Rogue already includes a lot of basic and common cards, I tried to fill in the rest of the list with replacements that are basic and common while rounding off the mana curve- this is the list I came up with. Obviously it's not better than it's odd rogue or tempo rogue counterparts that are more expensive but the deck really wont hold you back and when piloted properly has the potential to break into high ranks. Highly recommend this deck/class for your FTP accounts, as Budget rogue seems better than ever.
Small Change: Having two Silences in hand feels really clunky vs anything but cubelock, and silence doesn't always feel great because they can just Carnivorous Cube so I prefer Sap in most situations. I'm substituting 1 Spellbreaker for 1 Marsh Drake since you'll almost always be using Dagger Mastery on turn 2 and we want to always hit a tempo 3-drop in this deck.
- -1 Spellbreaker
- +1 Marsh Drake
Substitutes if you have these cards;
- Prince Kelesethx1 - Cut out 2 Eviscerate and 2 Sap, for two Dire Mole and one Fungalmancer
- Edwin VanCleefx1 - Cut one Marsh Drake
- SI:7 Agentx2 - Replace 2 Eviscerate or alternatively, one Marsh Drake and one Dire Mole if Eviscerate has been replaced.
- Elven Minstrelx2 - Replace 2 Sap or one Fungalmancer and one Dire Mole if they've been replaced.
- Saronite Chain Gangx2 - Replace both Glacial Shards
- Leeroy Jenkinsx1 - Replace one Fungalmancer,
- Vilespine Slayerx2 - replace both Bonemare
Other Cards worth considering on a budget;
- Abusive Sergeant
- Acherus Veteran
- Argent Squire
- Dire Mole
- Southsea Deckhand
- Acidic Swamp Ooze
- Bluegill Warrior
- Dire Wolf Alpha
- Ravasaur Runt
- Ironbeak Owl
- Kobold Apprentice
- Marsh Drake
- Wolfrider
- Dark Iron Dwarf
- Spellbreaker
- Fungalmancer

Old Changes: Back with another round of tweaks, I've taken note of new and different cards people are trying out in the top tempo lists and I've decided to include a few; 2 Tar Creepers are pretty common in all lists, despite not having much attack value behind it a 3/5 taunt for 3 is good tempo! I've tech'd in a second Spellbreaker because as you might already know, most of your warlock and paladin matchups are slightly or majorly in their favor- so the silence is there to help a bit vs Blessing of Kings as well as helping you get past Voidlords or negate Carnivorous Cubes effect! Fungalmancer is also seeing a bit more play- which was already included in this list if you ran Prince Keleseth so should smooth out the curve a bit here- and Fire Plume Phoenix being a 4 mana 3/3 was just too underwhelming for tempo in this list.
- -1 Marsh Drake
- -2 Fire Plume Phoenix
- +1 Tar Creeper
- +1 Spellbreaker
- +1 Fungalmancer
Older Changes; Hey guys, the meta's refined a bit more and I'm happy to say tempo rogue is still one of the better Rogue Archetypes in terms of win-rate and I'm back to adjust the list towards what I've found personal success with and what the meta versions of the deck include. Enjoy!
- -2 Deadly Poison - Investing 3 mana for a 3/2 weapon just wasn't good enough for tempo, much better alternatives
- -2 Bloodsail Raider - A 2/3 with upside is good for budget but, I couldn't see myself keeping it in the deck after cutting Deadly Poison :(
- -2 Fan of Knives - Although this card is completely free, it just doesn't do work in this deck and with the new inclusions the 3-drop slot was far too crowded already
- +2 Southsea Deckhand - Has made quite an impact in meta decks, even without Prince Keleseth 1 mana for 2 burn and a 2/1 body is good enough
- +2 Marsh Drake - Having very few 2-drops leads to weaponing on turn 2 quite often, surprisingly this made marsh drake good enough as a 3-drop I highly recommend trying him out!
- +1 Tar Creeper - Very good card if you ever fall behind on board, that being said I could only include one because of the crowded 3-drop slot in this deck and the fact that you don't want too many defensive cards in a tempo oriented deck
- +1 Spellbreaker - The meta has reached a state where cubelock is unavoidable on ladder, I'd recommend including at least one Spellbreaker for Voidlord, Possessed Lackey, or cards from other decks like Hadronox
Old Substitutes:
Vicious Fledgling - Cut Fan of Knives or Blink Fox, if these have already been cut move onto Bloodsail Raider- if bloodsail has been cut move onto Deadly Poison(Rarely sees play anymore)Lifedrinkerx2 - Replace both Fire Plume Phoenix(4 Mana 3/3 was too underwhelming)The Lich King - replace a Bonemare(Seems too slow for this deck now, worth an include if you still have Bonemareto replace)
Thanks for taking a look at the deck list, please let me know what budget list you made out of the cards and how your games went, I use this decklist on my f2p witchwood account and it performs pretty well in the middle ranks.
For New Players: If you're a brand new player looking to create a deck and you don't have the dust for this one, please take a look at this list

*Setting the scene*
Playing against an elemental mage, with about 20 or 10 or so health left. their board was full of artificer's and 0/2 body mirror images with taunt. as each turn creeps on he casts more and more spells amounting to about 20 or so armor.
my hand sit shallow with merely an Eviscerate in it and a spell i had gotten from my opponents deck via Blink Fox.
my turn commences with the only thing that might possibly save me, Arcane Intellect! i rejoice. i play that and pull the only thing that could've made this play better. my eyes were graced by the sight of a Hench-Clan Thug and a Cobalt scalebane. i play the spell i had gotten earlier and copy the cobalt in my hand i then play one cobalt and the henchman and attack with my weapon boosting the henchman. the following turns i contiued to stack my board with my other cobalt and a tar creeper i had just drew. my shifting scrolls i had gotten from another blink fox i had pulled had turned into a meteor something card and cleared all his taunt minions. my health was dwindling from his onslaught the previous turns. i finally stacked my board and cleared his enough to be able to hit his face with my ridiculously strong 2 cobalts 1 hench-clan thug and a 14/5 tar creeper.
my opponent flipped through their hand and then paused for a short moment. thinking they had bested me but i turned around disarmed them and placed the blade of victory against their throat. in one swift motion my opponent emoted a kind "well played" and then conceded.
And thats why i love this deck! thank you Bagged Milk. Much Thanks

Glad to hear :)
Sure let me go fix it- wording was super awkward because this deck list has been changed around 3 times- and all of the old changes are all kind of lumped together in one list and the new changes missed me cutting another spellbreaker for marsh drake. I'll fix all mentioned above in a couple minutes
Heya, I love where this is going, but you're 2 cards short of 30. Also what quantity of deck cards should we exchange with (what quantity) of replacement cards? Also, it seems you didn't update the substitution list when you made the changes to the main deck. Thanks and hope to see more!
The deck list does have 30 cards as you can see on the list 12 rogue cards, 18 neutral cards- you're right on the substitutes and replacements list I'm going to get to updating that right now big blunder on my part, I'm also going to put in some base set substitutes for people who can't build the entire list.
I caught my mistake too late. It does have 30. I blame finals stress. Anyway, thanks for the update! :D
