Well met everyone!
This is my first time posting a decklist, this is your typical even paladin with a twist your opponents won't see coming, Spiteful Summoners! This deck carried me from rank 15 to legend in less than a week always staying at a 60%-65% win rate. Have fun! Got questions? Find me here: https://www.twitch.tv/lycantv_
Great deck. I'm enjoying it so far in casual play. I may take it to the ladder and see how it does. So far it's competitive with everything I've played against.
Thanks a lot! Glad you're enjoying it :)
Cool deck. Has good top end power. I just dont think its as good as even pally with Equality. That card is just simply too good right now. And Blessing of Kings helps you end games early against warlock and quest rouge.
Basically it comes down to whats more powerful in your mind, 6 mana, 2 bodies and ~9/9 in stats, or a one sided board wipe to push for lethal.
I completely agree, as i think you would've guessed, i can't include equality because of basing the deck around spiteful summoners. This decks main advantage is the surprise factor in my opinion. Turn 6 into spiteful summoner which summons say a grommash is what makes this deck potentially powerful. But yeah it's definitely more rng, but it's just something a little different and potentially more fun.
Nice deck, have only 1 call to arms and no glass knight. Any replacements?
call to arms is a key spell, so if you have the dust it's worth crafting as it is extremely powerful! no problem, glass knight is more for fun since paladin is my favorite class and i love to include paladin cards when i can, replace it with another lightfused stegadon :)
I actually made another Call to Arms with my dust and instead of Glass Knight I went with the Black Knight (very useful actually). I also made some adjustments as I noticed The Lich King and Lay On Hands are a bit slow. I focused a bit more on the fact that Silverhand Recruits cost only 1 so added 1 more Lightfused Stegodon and Drygulch Jailor × 2 to make use of that benefit. Also went with Spikeridged Steed × 2 to protect the minions on the board and add some more value to the Spiteful Sumoners.
My version of your deck (I will add your name to it too):
Very nice! I originally had spikeridged steeds in it too, i used to have an almost identical version and it did very well for me. Great work!
The deck seems cool, but sadly like most of the fun decks to try out it is a bit above my dust budget.
Have favorited it so maybe I can try it a bit later on in the expansion.
