Deck overview:
This deck plays very much like a zoo deck more so than the old aggro shaman. It's got a lot less burn but is a lot better at going wide and is more board-centric.
I find hex to be much better than spell breaker in general. Often times the minion your silencing is bigger than the spell breaker, even if it's simmilar size better to use hex since their minion gets to attack and your spell breaker doesn't. Hex is great against say sea giants which are very common and if you silence a lich king it's still an 8/8. You tend to have a lot of tokens so the 0/1 frog rarely ever matters.
Also piloted shredder is one of the lowest win rate cards in this deck I cut it for whilrling zapomatic which is a staple in the past and now it's got dire wolf alpha for even more synergy.
Match up's
Strong against:
All agro (odd rogue, odd paladin, secret mage, aggro shaman)
Kingsbane rogue
Even against:
cube lock
otk druid (devolve is a good answer to spreading plague)
Weak against:
Big priest (too much board removal)
Mulligan:
look for murkspark eel, Direwolf alpha, flametongue, whirling zapomatic, jade claws, totem golem, thing from below (YES YOU KEEP THIS "6" DROP, usually u can play it by turn 4 for 2-3 mana).
Vs odd paladin keep maelstrom portal
Tips:
Try to not overload on 2 so you can get an extra totem on 3, with coin sometimes if things cruve out it's right to coin totem on 2 then play 2 drop and totem again on 3.
Vs locks, try to play around defile, trade in your 1/1 totems even if it's for free and think about not rolling totems if you want to avoid the searing totem.
As with all tempo decks plan your curve 2-3 turns in advance.
Cut Whirling Zapomatic for Draenai Totemcarver.
While Whirling Zapomatic can be REALLY good against control deck if left unanswered, it's not great against mos aggro decks.
Draenai Totemcarver is on the other hand generally solid in all match up's. It's usually a 4 mana 7/7 without the overload.
