Update 5/28 - i see versions of this deck have become quite popular in standard since i first created it over a month and a half ago- ive been away from the hearthstone scene since then but its great to see variants of the deck has become so popularized. I’ll be returning soon and can provide some much needed feedback/updates. Happy climbing
Hey Everyone,
Even before Witchwood came out i had been trying to make a successful mill druid using Togwaggle combos. Azalina's addition definitely provided the icing on the cake! I will go over all the synergies of this deck the best i can. I had another version of this deck that uses malygos that still works great I have provided below for anyone who wants to use that version as well. Feel free to watch a few of the videos and provide any feedback.
Special thanks to Nostam for giving me the idea to add Tyrant synergies into the deck..

Vs Control
Vs Aggro
Objective
The basic goal of the deck is to mill yourself as fast as possible and use 1 of 2 main combos to prevent your opponent from getting the Kings Ransom spell. Or you can just OTK them with fatigue damage.
Win Conditions:
1. King Togwaggle + 2 x Naturalize - obvious way to prevent them from getting the kings ransom spell. Wait until you have milled yourself enough and also ensure your opponent has a minimum of 6 cards in hand on your turn then naturalize x 2 to fill their hand before togwaggle. They will be unable to receive the spell and you will have their deck while they fatigue.
2. Twig+ King Togwaggle + Azalina + naturalize (optional) - This is my favorite way to mill them. Not only do you get to steal their entire hand but you also put them further in fatigue. So the way this works is early on Turn 4ish you play twig and hold on to your last attack until you have king togwaggle/azalina in hand. Make sure you have nearly milled yourself before pulling this off. Then first play King Togwaggle, then play both/one naturalize (this isnt required but def puts them in fatigue further), then play azalina to steal their entire hand.
Doing this ensures they will never be able to get their deck back because you will also have the kings ransom spell to switch back in case they use it.
3. Togwaggle + 2 times naturalize (15 damage turn) - if you have completely milled your deck but your opponent has less than 4 cards in hand and you are sitting with 2 naturalizes..just switch decks and burn them for 15 damage to your opponent...you may just end the game right there.
Mulligans
Aggro - wrath, swipe, lesser jasper, wild growth, howl, oaken (situational - plague, branching)
Control - Twig, Nourish, Growth, howl, wrath, oaken, swipe, branching
Synergies
Outside of the win synergies i outlined earlier- here are some more i use frequently
Plague + Branching Paths - Create an insane board full of 3/5 taunt minons
Ferocious Howl/Branching + Spellstones - It helps to have the spellstones in hand before branching or howling so you can maximize their damage potentials easily.

3. (OLD Version ONLY win condition) Twig + Maly + Burst Potential (swipes/moonfires) - We will get into why moonfire is critical in this deck later. But here i will discuss how to use it to OTK your opponent. First like win condition 1- You play Twig early on and save the last durability until you have maly and burst potential in hand. Then you play maly attack to refresh crystals. Swipe * 2 + moonfire * 2 and you are looking at 6+6+9+9 = 30 in one turn. lets not forget you can add 3 more with malfurion to seal the deal.
Synergies
Voodoo Doll + Moonfire = a great way to clear large minions/threats
Love this deck alot but what if my oppenent Have Skulking Geist and WEAPON REMOVALS ? Should i use the Rummaging Kobold as a solution for that ? But it can be recruit by the Oaken Summons so do u have any idea ?
hi and thanks for you share, nice video too, i have some issue if you can aid me throgh

i will try to find more dust so i can craft that wepon
wish you a happy time
all the best
First, congratz (:
How it works againts
TempoAggro Mage?? ThanksHey man, thx for the feedback i been away from the scene for a while now so sorry about the delay. As far as running UI i did run 2 when first toying with the deck..the problem is i found UI to be too clunky and you sometimes would need to UI and would lose some cookie cutter cards such as tog azalina or some naturalizes. I still think running one UI is totally fine i just find the arcane tyrants great for keeping your hand under 10 while peeling the deck/creating some board..not to mention they cost 0 when played!
for me i still was able to burn through my deck with the nourishes howls and branching paths just fine.
I know the meta shifted a bit recently so running some UIs may be totally the way to go again
Yeah I'm curious about that. This looks fun to play but if one card can f*** you is it worth?
...then you proceed with the plan B: play x2 Naturalize + King Togwaggle. if that is not even working, oh well, you lost the game :)
Rummaging Kobold may can solve that but it can be recruit by the Oaken Summons ....
You have to be lucky, but I managed to get a few wins vs some "serious" decks such as odd paladin and handlock at rank 4. Very fun to win and your opponent to have no idea what's about to happen to them!
Crafted some legendaries to play this deck...not regretting it one bit! Superfun and challenging to learn play it and master it.Aways loved playinf off-meta, fringe decks. Great work, Emerge!
Appreciate it man!
only matchup i tend to suffer with is spiteful druid, aggro of any kind is never a problem and most control..including control mage and cubelock im either putting them deep into fatigue or stealing their win conditions and playing it back into them.
Glad you are having as much fun with the deck as i do- im sure there will be others out there that can play it even better than i can.
I upvoted a similar deck here on the site, but I believe yours is superior and so I have recommended yours! I was having issues being stuck in the “dead zone” of Aggro not having six cards and not being at 15 health to die to Togwaggle combo. Azalina fixes that, and I’ve had a lot of success. You’ve also helped a lot with the hand clunkiness brought on by UI. It’s such an unexpected deck, and I second the thought that I almost hope it stays obscure.
My main nemesis with this deck has been Tempo Mage and Spiteful Priest. Any tips on how to combat these guys?
Appreciate the feedback - I honestly haven't had too many pains with Tempo Mage.. but i will give you a few pointers of how to handle the early game so you survive the first few turns to eventually sustain beyond their available reach. After this happens they typically will just fatigue themselves either by alunith or simply running out of burn.
You want to mulligan for one of the early clears (wraith, swipe, spellstone), if your coin side save it for Counter spell -- you can use your wild growth for this as well, your other mulligans need to be least one armor based card (howl, branching,oaken)..
Card Draw and Armor is key in this matchup..you want to have your early game clears dont be afraid to hit that 1/3 mana worm on turn two or coin to hit it to play a lesser or setup for starfall. I cant stress enough how setting up for future turns is important esp with that pesky Vex Crow that can fill up the board quickly.
Make sure you are maximizing your Howls and dont be afraid to go for armor over draw with your branching paths.

Spiteful Priest/ Spiteful Druid - yeah these guys are my main tough points of this deck..if you get ahead of them you are fine..but you typically have to stay ahead of the curve at all costs. My best suggestion is dont be afraid to save your naturalize and use them if necessary..unless of course its tyrantus then most of the time you can just conceed.
I like the deck a lot. I was waiting for a good mill deck to turn up in standard and this one does the job nicely. Thank you for sharing..I hesitated in upvoting due to the fact that I'd prefer it doesn't become popular enough to be countered. But you deserve the upvote.
Thank you.
Thanks man I'm glad you like it! I'm having a ton of fun playing with it myself as well - only 2 wins away from legend atm!
I added Harrison jones in place of one Arcane for them pesky Locks
try and keep azalina / naturalize combo around turn 8/9 (right before guldan). Once you steal their hand you can pretty much just steam roll the game after that- you can also potentally naturalize them out of key cards for their deck.
its ok to steal race to fatigue, but just remember cube lock will fatigue themselves
