I really love this deck as I use to play a lot of watcher priest pre-naxx. I did make a few changes based on the meta I was seeing. Thanks for bringing this deck back with a new spin! The grind was getting pretty sluggish with all the zoo and aggro I was seeing around rank 11. Hit a win streak with this deck and up to rank 7 now. I am sure I will have to go back to playing a more control style priest soon as I approach rank 5, but for now it's doing the trick of pushing me through the grind.

(mainly because I found these 2 cards to be dead cards most games...at least in my cases)

+Shadow Madness - amazing value, works great in the current meta and almost always trades 2 for 1...fits my personal play style
+Black Knight - again, great value in the current meta and helps a lot with handlock.

Great build. I put it together this afternoon and have been going 3:1 or better all day. This deck does a good job of filling in where Priest control is usually week turns 1-4 by controlling the board with fat butts and taunt instead of spot removal. With Priest you often get overwhelmed by zoo/bloodlust/ OLTH before you get Holy Nova on board, but this build steers damage away from your face long enough to hit your two-for-ones. It's a more intelligent control deck that makes you focus on board state more than tempo and drawing into your ideal curve. Very fun to play through each stage of the game.

Couple of subs b/c I don't have Nax or finisher legends:

-1 Loatheb  +1 Venture Co. Mercenary

-2 sludge belches  +1 Defender of argus +1 yeti

- 1 Ragnaros -1 Yersa  +2x Mind Control -- Honestly think I like this more, particularly for mirror matches.

So, on the strong reco here from iNvex for Sylvanas, I actually dusted a Gold Yersa to buy the lower curve legend. Tough call being on a "play-time only" budget build, but it was absolutely the right choice. Sylvanas changes the course of the game when you need it the most  and let's you survive into the late game. Tough sacrifice needing to re- build all that dust, my bet is that I'll get more wins with Sylvanas, however, than by hoarding my late game only legends. Mind control and Thoughtsteal means I still get to play big legends frequently and with the added "aikido" satisfaction ; ).

Glad you like the deck :) Ouch that DE would have hurt but Sylvanas would definitely get a lot more use in more decks than ysera. I really appreciate you comment, its exactly how I planned the deck :)

What could I use to replace Ysera? Cairne? And there is a role to fit my sweet Ragnaros in there?

Ragnaros is already in the list and combos great with Silence and Sunfury Protector.

I'm running Mind Control in place of Yersa.

I was running a similar deck as the only deck i've been facing in ladder is zoo/hunter with activating watchers. I ran it without the silence, pyro mancer and spellbreaker in favour of some other cards as I tried changing a tempo/DR priest deck. (Cultists, etc.) I've changed to yours, and it's working wonders, I've only lost to one zoo from rank 13-8 as he had an extremely great start and I had rag, ysera and sylvanas in my starting hand after getting rid of 2 belchers and loatheb(What are the chances?)

I would try considering adding acolyte of pain to your deck, since you do use pyro, and you can often have dead hands, or even an unstable ghoul. Maybe a senjin to fit in? random thoughts and ideas of possible additions

Glad it worked for you :) I've hit a little wall now that I am under 10 and facing a lot more handlocks. I think I need to make some tweaks to it. An Acolyte might be a nice adition, good thinking.
