Intro:
This deck got me from rank 10 - 5 with only two losses. I didn't use a Decktracker because I was constantly making adjustments as I was climbing. It has beaten Cubelock, Genn and Baku Aggro Paladin, Aggro Shaman, Shudderwock Shaman, and I encountered a few rogues who conceded by turn 4.
Guide:
This deck utilizes Baku the Mooneater's effect so your hero power deals 3 damage every time you use it. It might not seem like much, but the extra 3 - 4 damage from your hero power can be game-deciding in the end. The way to play this deck is:
Turn 1: 1 drop, or two 1 drops if coin
Turn 2: Two 1 drops or coin 3 drop (if you have another turn 3 play)
Turn 3: 3 drop or 1 drop + hero power, if you don't have a 3 drop
Turn 4: 3 drop + 1 drop or two 1 drops + hero power
Only trade if it's extremely favorable, and after turn 4, only go FACE
You generally lose board after turn 4, but the opponent is down to less than half their health by then, so you can finish them down with your hero power and burn. The game usually finishes by max turn 7.
I included only one 5 mana card (Leeroy Jenkins) because I found that at turn 5 you always want to play one card and hero power instead of playing an actual minion, since you want to keep pressuring your opponent, and your minion usually gets cleared anyways. If you don't have him, you can replace him with a Wolfrider.
Mulligan:
You want to mulligan your entire hand for 1 drops. Fire Fly > Argent Squire > Dire Mole > All other one drops. Never keep Tracking or Hunter's Mark in your opening hand.
Against other aggressive decks like paladin, you can keep Candleshot or Unleash the Hounds
Techs:
I run two Ironbeak Owls because of all the taunts I've been seeing.
I run one Tracking to find that extra damage you sometimes need when you run out of steam after turn 5
2 copies of Unleash the Hounds because I ran into a bunch of Paladins and Aggro Shamans in ladder
My favorite tech card is Blackwald Pixie, which you can play on turn 7 to pretty much fireball face for that finishing blow
NOTE:
This deck is still constantly evolving, as I've only played with it for a few hours. I will post any edits below.
The only hard counter I've encountered to this deck are variants of Baku Warrior, but they're pretty rare on ladder
EDITS:
It seems like Glacial Shard, Tar Creeper, and Hunter's Mark have been underperforming for me. I took them out and put in the charge package with one more Candleshot, and two Southsea Deckhands
the only problem with this deck is draw. not like another aggro like paladin with df and mage with aluneth
So how to make this viable again? Can't go even past rank 20, srsly. Any priest/warrior/paladin outmatches me with healing and taunts and armor...
I got this deck to rank 15 easily and I'm a very new player, so it can't be all that bad. I find that I lose pretty consistently to warriors, priests and paladins are 50/50 depending on how many heals or taunts they draw, respectively. Mostly you gain rank from winstreaks against the other matchups. Rogues, shamans, and mages are softballs, druids and warlocks seem to be either really easy or 50/50 dependent on what deck they are running.
Losing at rank 20 :(
Deck sucks hard atm ... mostly 20% winrate on rank 10
What I wanted: go face@no trade.
What I got: taunt@taunt. Every freaking paladin have bunch of taunts.
So I've been trying different Hunter decks because, honestly I hate the class but I want to get the golden cards and eventually the golden hero.
This version of the Baku the Mooneater deck makes it easier for me to play. I don't have Leeroy Jenkins, so I used Wolfrider. I took out the Blackwald Pixie for another rider and I beat the mirror, beat the Quest Hunter, Odd Paladin, and went 50/50 with tempo mage. It's keeping me interested so... thanks for the help.
I think he's too slow. By turn 5 you usually have lost board already, so you would want to play 3 drop + hero power
Good deck, but I always struggle against priest, for example when he plays Shadow Ascendant on turn 2. I feel like this minion is too strong to ignore it, but I also think that I can't afford to kill it with like fire fly + elemental. Any advice?
I am going to guess because Pixie has better in stats and is better in tempo than Nightblade. Yes the effects are similar in a way and both can be used on turn 7, but stats wise, Pixie is better. I might be wrong, but that is my thought.
If you read how the deck is meant to be played, its about early game, this means that even if it used on 3 or 4 mana you still have board control.
If you have Blackwald Pixie as your only card to play at turn 5, you can just play her and hero power. She won't be a dead card if you get her early. The extra stats don't matter because by the turn 7, your opponent should be able to clear whatever you have on board.
damn mages are better aggro the hunter now hey cant beat them jesus
Have you considered running Worgen Infiltrator? Seems better than Emerald Reaver imo.
The thing is, he isn't a beast (for kill command) + sometimes the extra 1 instant damage from emerald reaver wins games
Hey why do you run Blackwald Pixie instead of Clockwork Automaton? The latter seems better because for 7 mana you also get to deal 6 damage but you are left with a 1 attack higher minion which potentially grants you 6 more damage.

What about prince keleseth? would like to put him in this deck but what can I remove?
lol, im stupid XD
