KiwiiNbacon here. For those who don't know me, I'm a multiple time legendary player on the NA server. I also do deck showcase videos on youtube once in a while.
The Witchwoods expansion is finally upon us and for us to celebrate, I created a fantastic control warrior deck that may or may not change the way we think of warrior as a whole. Overall I would classify this as a major meme, but the capability of the deck to shred your opponent to pieces with a broadside of oversize cannonballs seems like its completely worth it.
The point of the deck is to survive until late game and overrun the board with big minions. Plenty of removal including a few rush minions and taunts are included to slow down the aggression which helps this deck get into the late game. I personally think that this deck has the potential to go absolutely bonkers if your opponent lets it go and will be a ton of fun to pilot in the upcoming weeks.
Deck Goal
What you want to achieve with this deck is quite simple. Get Blackhowl Gunspire to stick on the board by any mean possible. The following turn, play a Carnivorous Cube on the gunspire and duplicate it with Sudden Genesis, Faceless Manipulator or Prince Taldaram. Finally, kill your cubes and unleash swift blows to your opponent with Warpath and other board damaging effect and watch your opponent's defenses crumble in a beautiful pyrotechnic show.
MULLIGANS
no coin: you will be looking for Town Crier, Woodcutter's Axe Redband Wasp and Slam which would be the most efficient way to start the game
With coin: you can also keep Militia Commander and Saronite Chain Gang if you already have a one or two drop and either Slam or the Woodcutter's Axe
Interchangeable cards
Since this is major theorycraft, everything is currently on the table, if you have good ideas for the deck and if there are tech cards required I will add them here later but for the moment, many spots are up for grabs.
Card Choices
Town Crier: Most likely one of the best card in the expansion, also happens to have a bell.
Battle Rage: We are playing a self damaging deck you fool!
Dead Man's Hand: More Shooty = More wins
Execute: Tis a good card in a whirlwind packed deck
Redband Wasp: Float like a Glitter Moth, sting like a Redband Wasp.
Slam: You hurt AND draw, what more could you want.
Warpath: Didn't anyone ever tell you -- never bring a gun to a knife fight ~ Warpath
Woodcutter's Axe: Fiery war axe died for this!
Blood Razor: Quite sharp, much good at beating paladins.
Militia Commander: Quite skilled at stabbing people, just not in the face.
Brawl: Do I really have to explain why brawl is good in a control deck ?
Sudden Genesis: I hear you like Blackhowl Gunspire.
Blackhowl Gunspire: Refer to Sudden Genesis above.
Rotface: He likes it when it hurts.
Scourgelord Garrosh: For when you run out of warpath.
Vicious Scalehide: He Protec but He Also Attac. also quite good with the Woodcutter's Axe
Prince Taldaram: You must construct additional Blackhowl Gunspire.
Saronite Chain Gang: I mean you do need a way to survive until late game.
Carnivorous Cube: Apparently cubes can eat buildings too.
Faceless Manipulator: YOU MUST!
Primordial Drake: Rawr.

Do you think the second Dead Man's Hand is necessary? Going infinite doesn't seem like a thing right now. Extra value is nice, but it's a dead card against aggro.
still warrior isnt working, again meta is cube lock aggro palladin and otk shaman with 42% winrate
not sure how to handle Hunter and mate, they just rushtoo fast...it is good to have some more videos that demonstrate it.
Most of the case is, I use warpath and other aoe to defend and lost the way to win, or throw out tower and get removed, or have to use faceless for defend purpose, etc. seldom have a chance to use the combo.
Yeah this is a fun deck, therefor you can't play it. Welcome to hearthstone. 3 days into the expansion and you have the choice between shuddermeme or hyperagro
All I know is whoever that 24% is winning with this deck, they must be having one hell of a time
6 towers on board before mage started his OTK. Only real time I've gotten lucky with it though. Deck is way too reliant on exactly 2 cards to do almost anything. :\
Would be great to see the cannon barrage go off just once, but not worth the hassle when even casual is like 95% Shudderwock or Hyper Aggro to beat Shudderwocks. :(
what can i put in if i don't own blackhowl gunspire? any replacements? thanks!
well the whole deck is about blackhowl but grom can be fine, it does the job too.
Did you even read what the deck strategy is? NO. You can’t replace it. Find another deck.
This deck is funny, but is sooo Slow and fat in the lower ranks.
Maybe in high ranks he can more effective against, low tier decks, but Certainly the cost is so high for low productivity. I spend 3200 in Dust, and i am totally regretful .
So far I'm rocking an 80% WR with this deck.. It's a brain twister, that's for sure.. I've played against some super aggro mages with lots of burn which were hard to deal with. Otherwise.. Man this deck has been sick.
Against any control deck all you need to do is play super greedy and make sure you get spire + taldram into double cube.. then kill off your cubes with a brawl or trades... then just start echo'ing. I made some changes, I used Grommash instead of Rotface and cut the 2 Dead Man's Hand for +1 Battle Rage and Darius Crowley. Card draw is key, you're a combo deck :)
Grommash also helps vs Shudderwock decks, you can very frequently smash their face. Darius can hit face multiple times for 8 or more damage, especially vs Shamans with the totems. If you're having trouble with this deck, you might be trying to combo TOO much.. Playing too slow is often a problem with OTK / combo decks. Try to play your cards out a little more, obviously you want good value. But if you think you need to save your last brawl to kill your cubes or else you won't win... that's not always correct. You could lose by that time. (Experience with it :] )
I plan on playing this deck for a good while, before experimenting with Rogue. This one might spawn some ideas!

I got the tower as my free class legendary, and my goal was to put it in a deck that makes it, uh, shoot stuff. Thanks for giving me some ideas. I'll definitely start here first.
