A very rough outline for a dragon hunter deck.
Relies heavily on amalgam and scaleworm, who have synergies with both dragons and beasts.
Emeris is a lategame win condition, but possibly terrible.
Is pretty much a new and interesting style of midrange hunter.
Rush minions are fantastic in hunter, as they are great for board control, and can activate a the effects of a few cards here. Unfortunately, hunter does not get many. However, this could make dire frenzy worth running, just to buff a Scalehide or Scaleworm, for potentially huge board swings and big heals.
Just waiting for hunter to get draw now.
A +1 or comment would be great, I'd love to hear some opinions!
It's an interesting take on Dragon Hunter but I don't see any way for this deck to beat Warlocks so this probably won't work. Although I like the idea. :) Probably could use a 1-drop and/or DK.
Yeah, midrange hunters have kind of been pushed out of the meta right now. It's not going to help now that most of their 1-drops are rotating out. Maybe the new 2/1 lifesteal beast Swamp Leech would work?
I suppose you could add in stonetusk board and dire frenzy to hopefully get 3 to 6 1 mana 8/8 chargers with Emeriss, but that would need more stalling and draw to work consistantly.
What about some draw?
I must try this
Thanks! Replying to your other comment too, hunters have really poor draw atm. Perhaps countess ashmore would work, there is a rush/lifesteal minion, and also deathrattle dragons. Maybe also add the vilebrood skitterer for removal and a draw of 3 cards. Although you risk becoming a bit top heavy.
