Heya fellas! Rank 3-5 player here with control warrior (last 3 seasons), here is my take on the next expansion's taunt warrior! Always been a fan of this archetype and I am hoping that with Baku and the fact that the card power of some decks are going abit down again it might see some play!

Strategy:

I hypothesize that one of the challenges of Baku the Mooneater decks will be to fill out the curves, hence I put Stonehill Defender (plus Elise the Trailblazer) aswell as Harrison Jones seeing as many decks use weapons nowadays (and some much needed draw). Alternatives for card draw (except Shield Block) are Acolyte of Pain but seeing there is no easy way to activate double draw in this deck (except possibly Whirlwind I thought it might be too weak. The current standard rotation has quite alot of good weapons, and this is why Molten Blade is included, Fiery War Axe is a viable alternative too!

The idea is to quickly finish your quest, and either use Blackwald Pixie as a defensive mechanism (against aggro) for 8 armor on turn 7 which saves enough mana to still be able to clear the board with Reckless Flurry or a few Shield Slams, or as a double hero power for a total of 16 dmg after quest completion. I was also thinking about using Clockwork Automaton for double hero power damage, but I fear it will be too situational and gimmicky, not to mention a dead card until you finish your quest. Also, Blackwald Pixie has much more agressive stats so you can sometimes slam it down for the board presence.

If you manage to wipe the board completely after your quest is finished, it should look quite good from here! Saving your Brawl and Reckless Flurry for big board removals, which also makes sure your hero power hits the opponents face is key here! One of the best removal + damage combos (if you have saved up some armor) is Reckless Flurry into hero power + Blackwald Pixie + hero power. Board clear and 16 face damage!

I also did not add any other 9 drops on purpose as you always want to play hero power after quest is complete (hence the high amount of 3+5 drops). This is also the reason why I did not include Master Oakheart even though he could give you a big tempo swing.

Thoughts?  (PS: This is my first decklist on Hearthpwn, be nice! :))
