This deck is in no ways meant to be competitive, and more just wanting to have fun. (This deck is also not complete and would have to wait for more cards to be released, will update accordingly).
This deck is a stretch. Just wanted to try out Baku the Mooneater with Druid, since they are getting one of the few Odd synergy card, Gloom Stag.
One of the ways they could use the odd synergy is with Master Oakheart, since some of the cards that it would love to recruit is odd, Tar Creeper, Crypt Lord, Ixlid, Fungal Lord, the new beast Witchwood Grizzly, and also Hadronox.
Carnivorous Cube is amazing, and get a lot more value from cards. Also, more taunts are added into this deck to get some more value from Hadronox, like Rotten Applebaum and Druid of the Claw.
And then a couple of spells needed to keep the deck running. Some hopeful removal with Lesser Jasper Spellstone, Naturalize (this one could be used on own Hadronox) and Starfall (only because we can't put in Swipe. Nourish is our only card draw at the moment, so this deck probably won't work, since it's too slow. Savage Roar is preferably used as a finisher when you have just a whole board of taunts, but I think it might be one of the few cards to be cut off from this list.
I can't wait to try out Master Oakheart in the new expansion!
Edit: Added Dollmaster Dorian, took out a couple of beast generating cards or weak beasts.
When you get a copy of a taunt with Dorian does it have full stat value when you get it back with Hadronox or does it remain a 1/1?
It's like Barnes in big priest. Once the 1/1 dies and then you resurrect it, it'll be back to it's full stat.
Hell yeah. that's quite good then.
I don't know what to feel about Gloom Stag. I was toying around with this idea too. The thing I hate is that Witching Hour and Hadronox bring it back as a 2/6 Taunt. That's not super value for the hour.
Another interesting interaction - and this seems counter intuitive but with Witchwood Grizzly and Hadronox being the only beasts, you guarantee a much better Witching Hour when you cast it.
I don't like Starfall. Fatespinner just seems strictly better if you can play around it. Not a good enough way to amp the damage on Starfall.
I think Stonehill Defender is missing. This is the only way to get chance access to some powerful even costed Taunt minions like Lich King that will make your Hadronox really pack a punch.
Only other thing is you are really heavy on 5 drops. More 3 drops allows you to play around the curve better.
Yeah, Gloom Stag is actually really weak with this deck unfortunately, but I also did want another 2-attack minion (still hoping for some good ones).
And if i want to make Witching Hour better, I should also get rid of Druid of the Claw, and maybe Malfurion the Pestilent, since those cards are beasts too.
I just think Fatespinner is too slow.
I should probably add Stonehill Defender, but my problem is I focus on making Master Oakheart good, or else I'd probably put more 3 cost minion.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll tweak it more once more cards are released!
